About two days later, an alarm went off in the facility. One of the workers got intel that Destroyer Bots, Co. was launching a full-scale attack on Helper Bots, Inc. Jason got Mike, Pete, JeeVee, and Cleanie into the safe spot underneath the workroom. Unfortunately, Jason's workroom was the only one that had an escape hatch like that. Jason saw Beatrice again and offered her to go in with him. She did, and after they all climbed down the ladder, Jason closed the hatch.
There was plenty of food, drinks, and board games to last them for weeks. Mike reached up to get a can of soda, but suddenly the shelf fell down and revealed a secret door. They all went through the door, and there was nothing but darkness ahead of them. JeeVee set his LED eyes to maximum brightness so the others can see. After about an hour of just walking down a dark underground hallway, the six of them came across another ladder. Pete volunteered to climb up first to see what was waiting for them up above them. A few seconds later, he yelled, "Guys! Check this out!" The others climbed up, and they were in an empty warehouse.
