Chapter 3

                                                                                             Cassandra's POV
       It wasn't long before we arrived at the house. It was completely white with a gray number 146 on it- my number. Every house was the same except for the grey numbers that signified which child lived there.
"Here we are."
Carla said when we parked on the white tile driveway. I saw that every other Mother on the block-and the street behind us- was saying the exact same thing.
"Home."
I whispered, Pleased with my First word. I immediately covered my mouth when I saw Stephen was looking at me.
      We walked in the house at the same time as every other family, with perfect posture and Never Falling Behind. When I looked back, I saw that a Few guards were standing on every street. Inside the house there were two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There was a living room with a white couch, a white table, a white cabinet that contained The Creation approved Books. On top of the Cabinet, A White Tv that only had one channel, The Creation Approved News Channel, which told us about New Laws, And anything else The Creation wanted us to know. There was no dining room or kitchen, because we went to the Food Facility for Food. I also Saw a clock, and a few white lights in the Living Rooms. In The Master Bedroom, There was a Queen-Sized bed and two nightstands, two desks, Each containing a computer for work and a small lamp. Nothing else. And of course, everything was white. 
      In the bathrooms, there was one white toilet, one white sink, three white hand towels, and one shower. In My bedroom, There was a twin sized bed, A schedule against the wall for work, a clock, a light, and a desk that contained a computer and a small lamp. In each bedroom, there was also a closet (In the master bedroom, there were two- one for each parent) that contained your assigned outfit. Girls wore a white shirt with a white knee length skirts, and Boys wore white trousers and a white shirt. I clutched my necklace as I looked at the clock.
5:59 pm.
We went to dinner at
6:00. 5, 4, 3, 2.....
Carla walked into my room. "We shall go to the Food Facility. Today is Friday, we Will eat Turkey, Broccoli, and Mash Potatoes." I walked to the car, and we drove to the Facility.
***************************************************************************************************************.                         When we got to the white Facility with white marble tables with Three white metal chairs. I saw Jenna setting out food on the tables, and she waved to me. Food Orginizers always started on the day of their assignments, not getting much time to settle. I quickly looked away, knowing that speaking to my enemy in a friendly tone would send me to "That". My Family and I sat at our assigned Table, and started to eat. It was not long before I saw Vanessa at the table next to us. "Hello, Cassandra. Don't you just love our new lives? The houses are identical in every way..It's amazing."
She Said.
"Yes."
I said, Very Clearly. We were presented  a basket of fruit, and I started to eat the blueberries and strawberries. After we finished, We got into the car and went back home.
****************************************************************************************************************When we got home, I watched a bit of News and Thought about my Job as a Congresswoman. I wondered what Laws would be brought up tomorrow, my first work day. After an Hour, I read a book called "The Creations Laws" for an Hour. I changed into my white Pajamas, and I slowly got into bed. I stared at the clock.
9:30 pm. At 9:31 pm we went to sleep. 1 more minute. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
All the lights in the house clicked off. All the lights in "This" clicked off. After about a minute, I drifted off to sleep, Dreaming of Tomorrow.
