When I awoke from crying, I slowly got to my feet. I thought,
"Surely, This is just a dream! I could wake up in my bed in the morning, and all of this never happened."
Then, I came to my sense and pinched my wrist. I yelped in pain.
"Yup, awake."
I thought. All I remembered earlier that day was a purple liquid being injected into my wrist, and I felt very queasy. Then I started to pace, like anyone should.
"What could have that needle done to me?"
I wondered as I walked back and forth is the tight enclosure. Then I bumped into something soft, yet hard. I heard a sharp scream, and saw a vaguely human shape. I joined in on the scream, but was soon shushed by a small hand.
"Shhhh! They'll hear us!" Said the voice
"W-Who are you?" I stuttered.
"Sam."
Memories flashed or the meeting in The Creation. So this was the girl they ran all of those horrid tests on. But what was her....experiment?
"Why didn't I see you before?"
"'Cause Of these stupid doctors."
I was startled by the hostility in her voice.
"How did you get in here in the first place?" I asked.
"I MIGHT have stolen some keys..." She said slowly.
"It's hopeless. We'll never get out of here." I said as I started to cry again.
"I have a plan." Sam said with determination.
I shook her shoulders and almost yelled.
"What? What is it?"
"Slow Down," Sam said. "We have some work to do before."
