Chapter 11

Bruno's POV
We stayed looking at each other. Tears filled up in both of our eyes.

"Bruno it is you." Jessica hugged me tightly, crying on my shoulder.

"I thought I lost you forever." I hug her back tightly.

"I'm right here Bruno." She could barely talk.

"I SAW HER RUN THROUGH HERE!" We hear a man yell.

Jessica stops hugging me, and looks at me with wide eyes.

"Bruno it's them. We need to hide, and fast." Jessica whispers.

"Behind the dumpster. Hurry." I whisper back.

We hide behind the huge smelly dumpster. I grab Jessica and hug her. Two huge men, and one short female ran past the dumpster, then stopped. They looked around.

"Do you really see her running through here?" The girl asked.

"Yeah, she ran right through here." He answered.

"You're costing me precise money," The other man explained, he sounded old,"if you don't find her, it will cost you both of your life's. ¿Entiendes?" He tells them something in Spanish.
-Understood?-

"Si, Señor." They respond.
-Yes, Sir.-

"¡Vámonos!" He yelled.
-Let's go!-

We hear them get into a car, then leave. I uncover Jessica's mouth, and we can finally breath. We walk out from behind the dumpster. I hug her tightly.

"I've misses you to much." I tell her.

Jessica starts to stumble. Slipping out of my hands.

"Are you okay?" I asked her, grabbing her.

"Yea..yeah." She whispered weakly.

She stands up tall, and I let go of her. Jessica groans then touches her head.

"I feel so dizzy. So thirsty."

Jessica's whole body jerks back. Before she can fall, I catch her in my arms.

"Jessica. Wake up! Jessica come on! Please Jessica, please wake up." I shake her. "Please Jessica I can't lose you, again." Tears filling up in my eyes.

I take out my cellphone from my pocket. Immediately I dial 911.

"911 what's your emergency?"

"Yes my friend is hurt! She passed out, I need help right away!" I said quickly.

"Sir, please calm down. An ambulance is on it's way. They will be there as soon as possible." The woman says.

"Thank you."

Jessica's body was freezing cold. Her chapped lips were purplish. I grabbed her hand and interlocked it with mine.

"Stay with me Jessica." I can hear the a loud sirens coming. "There coming Jessica please wait."

I picked her up in my arms, and carried her out so the people can see us.

"HELP!" I yell.

The ambulance stops right in front of the entrance to the alley. I pick Jessica up in my arms, and place her on to the stretcher. They pushed the stretcher into the ambulance and were about to close the door.

"Wait! Can I go?! Please!" I beg to the man.

"I'm sorry sir. But you may not." He tries to tell me calmly.
