Chapter 16

Bruno's POV
I had to say it. It was breaking my heart her not knowing that I love her.

"Y-you love me? You still love me?" Jessica stuttered.

"Of course."

Jessica looked down and back up at me.

"You're with Molly still, Bruno." She points out.

I stayed quiet. Jessica walked back inside the room, and sat on the bed. She got under the covers and went to sleep.

I stayed up looking at the ocean. I needed to make up my mind before things got to late.

Jessica's POV
I woke up and notice Bruno passed out on the chair by the bed. It was 9:06am. He looked so cute when he was sleeping. I got up and walked out to the small balcony and watched the waves. My favorite thing about Hawaii is how peaceful and relaxing it is.

"Goodmorning." Bruno says behind me.

I turned around and faced him.

"Goodmorning."

We stayed silent. Things were awkward from the night before.

"So, we didn't just come out here to be stuck in a hotel all day. What do you wanna do today?" He asked.

I looked out at the ocean and smiled. Looking back at Bruno, he waited patiently for an answer.

"Let's go snorkeling."

We were on a boat in the middle of the ocean. We dived right in and saw all the beautiful colorful fish in the water. I got overly exited when I saw a sea turtle. We rised back to the top, and smiled at one another.

"This is beautiful." I tell him.

"It sure is!"

I looked at Bruno from under the water. How adorable he looked in his red swimming trunks. Flashbacks of our high school days came back into mind. A caught him a few times starring at me. I played it off acting like I didn't see him watching me, but deep down inside I was screaming with joy.

Once we finished snorkeling, we were taken back to shore. We got back to the hotel and my phone was swarming with calls from Liam. I deleted them all acting as if I didn't see anything.

"Everything okay?" Bruno asked.

"Yeah. Where to next?" I asked.

"It is getting pretty late." He says.

"Let's go have dinner." I said.

"Sounds good to me."

We got fully dressed for dinner. I did my hair and makeup as Bruno watched as I curled every strand.

"Jessica, why do girls do their hair and makeup for?" Bruno asked.

"Because we want to look and feel beautiful." I tell him.

He walks over to me and looks at me through the mirror.

"You're already beautiful." He says.

I slowly turned around and looked at him. Our eyes locked into each other, my heart began to race. Slowly we inched our lips closer to one another. Bruno began to close his eyes. I stopped in my place and moved away, as I awkwardly coughed.

"I have to finish getting ready." I say.

I see Bruno from the mirror look down and walk over to the bed. He wasn't to happy with what just happen.

Bruno's POV
The snorkeling went great. Just watching Jessica as how happy she got when she saw the fish made me feel good. This was a perfect get away for us to just reconnect.
