"My princess, please run." He begged pero iling lang ang itinugon ko sakanya.

"I won't... I can't." Umiiyak kong sabi sa kanya kaya niyakap niya ako ng sobrang higpit.

Kasalanan ko 'to, kung hindi sana ako nagpumilit na magpasama sa kanya para tumakas sa mansion edi sana hindi mangyayari 'to... hindi sana kami nadukot ngayon. Hindi sana kami nagtatago ngayon sa isang sulok ng lumang gusali na'to para pagtaguan yung mga humahabol saamin.

"Sshh... tahan na, everything will be alright."

He kissed me on forehead while hugging me tight. I feel secured.

I know he can defeat those goons who abducted us but he's worried about me. Ayaw niyang mapalayo ako sa tabi niya dahil baka kung anong gawin nila saakin. 

"There you are."

Napahigpit ang yakap ko sa kanya ng may sumulpot na armadong lalake sa harapan namin. Nakakatakot ang lawak ng ngiti niya.

"I-I'm scared." I sobbed so he shush me.

"Listen, I'll handle him then run as fast as you can. Find a safety place outside and I'll follow you." He whispered.

"N-no, I don't want to leave you."

"But you have to. C'mon don't be scared, okay? I will follow you afterwards." He gave me a reassuring smile.

He hid me on his back and face the man standing in front of us. He kicked the gun that the man's holding and it was thrown away. The man tried to punch him but he managed to dodged it.

Maharas niya hinila ang kamay nung lalake at ibinalibag ito. The man groaned when he punches his face, hindi pa siya nakuntento dahil marahas niya itong tinadyakan sa dibdib ng paulit ulit hanggang sa mawalan ito ng malay.

"Now run." Hingal niyang sabi pero umiling ako.

"I'm s-scared."

Lumapit siya saakin at hinawakan ang kamay ko.

"There's nothing to be scared of, darling. Run away first and wait for me, I will follow you after I deal with them."

"P-promise?"

He nodded.

He cupped my face and smiled at me.

"I love you so much. Please stay strong." He said. Idinikit niya ang noo niya sa noo ko kaya ramdam na ramdam ko ang init ng hininga niya.

"Wait for me okay? I promise I will comeback no matter what."

Tears fell from his eyes and my heart sank upon seeing it.

"W-why are you crying?" I sobbed. Umiling siya at nginitian ako habang patuloy parin ang pagtulo ng luha sa mga mata niya.

"Will you promise me one thing?"

"W-what is it?"

"Promise me that you will wait for me no matter how long it takes."

"I promise."

He smiled tsaka inilayo ang mukha niya sa akin.

"I love you."

I felt a glitch of pain in my heart when he said those words.

Crying, I brushed my lips into his'. He was taken aback but later he responded.

I love you too, Angelo. Please come back, I promise I will wait for you no matter how long it takes.
