A/N: this is kind of a sequel to the epilepsy story I wrote a while ago, but it can stand on its own as well. FrAnBlAcK015, this one is dedicated to you, because you are a great friend <3

Harry was sitting at the table, writing words on a paper. Words that he couldn't say with his voice, even when they were at the tip of his tongue.

Harry was going through a rough time after being diagnosed with epilepsy. He struggled with it. Even though he had good meds, seizures happened from time to time. Mostly it was because of the crazy schedule he had. He had to write songs, plan the new tour, rehearse and a couple more things.

Harry got snapped out of his thoughts when the front door opened and Louis walked in.

"Hi Haz, how have you been doing today?" Louis asked and pressed a kiss on his boyfriend's lips.

"Fine." Harry replied softly.

And that's when Louis knew Harry wasn't fine at all. If Harry was really fine, he would've asked Louis how his day was.

Louis went to sit at the table as well, after he made both of them a nice cup of tea.

"Here Haz, a nice hot cup of tea." Louis said and smiled at Harry. He just hoped Harry would smile  back at him. But instead of smiling, he just said 'thanks' and started looking down again.

Louis took Harry's head in his hands, and now their eyes were meeting. Louis saw Harry's red eyes. And then he saw the pen and the piece of paper he used to write on.

"Do you mind if I read it?" Louis asked curiously.

Harry just took the piece of paper, not to hand it to Louis, but to rip it into a thousand pieces.

"You could've just said no..." Louis said.

"I'm sorry..." Harry responded, feeling sorry for what he just did.

"Sweety, what is wrong? You know you can tell me." Louis said.

"I... you know... sometimes..." Harry stuttered.

"It's okay love, take your time. Just breath in... and out again." Louis said, trying to make his boyfriend feel comfortable.

Harry gathered all his courage and decided to tell Louis what the problem was.

"I'll tell you. But can we go sit into the living room? It kinda feels more comfortable." Harry said.

"Sure love. No problem at all." Louis replied and got up from his chair. Harry got up from his chair as well and he could feel what was coming up. His limbs started tingling and it seemed that his thoughts didn't belong to him anymore. His legs were giving in and he fell to the floor. His body started shaking violently and he was foaming from the mouth.

Louis immediately turned around and kneeled down beside Harry. He pulled his phone out of his pocket and started the timer. If the seizure held on for 5 minutes, he knew he had to call an ambulance. The risk of Harry's brain not getting enough oxygen would be very real. And that would be very dangerous because it could damage Harry's brain. But luckily it only lasted for 2 minutes.

"Haz... oh my god... that was scary... are you okay now?" Louis asked concerned. He started stroking Harry's hair.

"I guess..." Harry said softly. The seizure made him feel completely exhausted.

"Just lay down a little bit more, okay?" Louis said.

Harry nodded.

Five minutes later Harry slowly got up. He was still feeling really exhausted and he was still a little shaky on his legs. Louis helped Harry to the couch and made him lay down again. He ran a hand through Harry's hair again because he knew that made him feel comfortable.

"Thanks." Harry said softly and let a tear escape the corner of his eye.

"Hey, love... don't cry... shhh... it's all good." Louis said.

"I'm exhausted." Harry said.

"That's normal honey, you just had a seizure. I'm getting your meds and then you are going to sleep, okay? You need to rest." Louis said.

"Hmmm." was all Harry managed to bring out.

Louis went upstairs to grab the meds that were on the night stand on Harry's side of the bed. Louis grabbed a nice and comfortable pillow as well as a duvet for Harry. Then he went downstairs again and slipped the pillow under Harry's head and covered him with the blanket. He made Harry take his meds as well.

"Thanks Lou. I love you." Harry said.

"I love you too honey. Now, go to sleep for a little while. Your body has to recover. And when you wake up again, we're going to have a good talk, okay?" Louis asked.

Harry nodded and closed his eyes. He was asleep in no time.

While Harry was sleeping, Louis got really curious about the piece of paper that Harry had ripped into a thousand pieces. He knew Harry would still be asleep for a while, so he went to the kitchen and looked into the trashcan. Luckily they had just cleaned it out, so only the little pieces of paper were in there. Louis took them out of the trashcan and put them onto the kitchen table. He started to put eveything together. He wanted to read what Harry had written so badly. When he managed to put the note together, he read:

I'm losing myself,
I have no control,
Over a body that is shaking,
The energy that it's taking,

That was what was on the note. It looked like Harry had tried to write some kind of poem. But Louis also knew what it was about. Harry was struggling with his seizures. On easy days, his meds would work great and he wouldn't get seizures. But when Harry was really busy, like he was now, he was having those seizures almost every day. Louis knew he had to talk to Harry as soon as he woke up.

A few hours later, Louis heard Harry's voice coming from the living room.

"Haz, hey, how are you feeling now?" Louis asked concerned.

"Mmhh... still tired. But a little bit better." Harry replied.

"Good. Can I get you anything love?" Louis asked.

"No, not really." Harry said.

"Okay. But Haz, we need to talk. I read the note you tore to pieces... you're struggling... why didn't you tell me something?" Louis asked. He wasn't angry. He was really concerned.

"I didn't want to be a bother..." Harry said and turned his head away from Louis.

"You're not a bother to me Harry, you know that. I want to help you sweetheart, but then you have to talk to me. I can't help you if you don't say anything." Louis said.

Harry scraped his voice and started talking.

"You know, Lou... those seizures... it has been hard. I don't have control over myself, I'm scaring you, I'm scaring other people and I'm scaring myself. I feel so empty when it happens. Not just empty, but completely worthless. All I can do after a seizure is laying down on the couch or in bed and sleep. I'm not capable of doing anything else when I had one and that hurts." Harry said and tears started to fall down.

Louis hugged Harry tight.

"Oh Haz... listen. You're not worthless. It is normal that you are tired after a seizure. Very normal. You also have a lot of things on your mind because of your tour. Sometimes, between rehearsals or between writing, you should allow your body to rest. And you know I'm always there for you. I love you honey. And those seizures look scary for sure. But that's not your fault. You can't help it. And we need to make the best out of this. I'm convinced that we can do this. Together. You don't have to struggle alone." Louis said.

Harry smiled. He already felt a little bit better because of Louis' words.

"Thanks Lou. I really have the best boyfriend in the world. I'll tell you from now on." Harry said.

Louis smiled and hugged Harry even tighter and rubbed his back.

They took things easy for the rest of the day. Harry fell asleep quite a few times and of course Louis understood.

Both of them learned a lot out of this. And the most important thing they learned, was that love can conquer all. Even the biggest struggle.
