Thinking about everything makes me feel lucky,

Because I got all the things I need.

Thinking about everything makes me feel happy,

Because I could write and read the books I owned.

Thinking about everything makes me feel sad,

Because I didn't get to pursue things I love.

Thinking about everything makes me feel mad,

Because I missed the chances by being a coward.

I've been thinking...

The clock keeps ticking,

Tick tock, tick tock.

It's almost midnight,

I need to stop thinking.

I'm tired and it's getting late,

But I just can't sleep.

The small voice in my head,

Please shut up and let me sleep.

"No! You need to think it all over,"

Said the familiar voice.

Question one after another,

What if? Why? How? What?

The answers flow,

With smiles, laughter, tears, and a sob.

I think and think,

Then I'm overthinking.
