Enoch was walking down the unfamiliar street. It has been only one night since he arrived to this place, but he was quite getting used to it. It was early in the morning, and it was quite cold outside, but Enoch didn't mind.
He was on his way back to Jacob's house again, since he was afraid he would be lost. The street was empty, but Enoch saw something very strange - a girl.
Something in his minde made him want to go talk to her. He walked closer to her, and his eyes met her eyes.
"What are you doing out here?" He asked.
The girl looked deeply in Enoch's black eyes. She kept her mouth shut, observing Enoch.
When Enoch became impatient waiting for the girl's answer, the girl finally broke the silence.
"I was waiting for you." She replied.
Enoch snorted.
"Me? What do you mean?" He said.
The girl smiled.
"I just said it. I was waiting for you."
Enoch rolled his eyes and asked impatiently.
"So I asked you, what do you mean - ugh. Who are you?" He asked.
The girl leaned closer.
"My name is," She said, "December Peregrine."
"Peregrine? Are you a ymbrine?" Asked Enoch.
"No, no. My father is Caul Peregrine, and my aunt is Alma LeFay Peregrine. My father isn't a ymbrine, so I don't have the peculiarity to manipulate time." Said December.
"Caul Peregrine? You-"
"Now, look me in the eyes," She said, looking strait into Enoch's eyes. "You don't remember me."
There was a sudden flash in Enoch's eyes, and his memories were gone.
