Tuesday, May  8th, 1950).    Chapter 1: Elaine's Arrest.

Elaine lived a couple of minutes away from the city of New Orleans,  she lived in a small town in  New  Orleans call  Algiers point.  In a  pink-painted one bedroom apartment house with a white picket fence, just a week after  Elaine had quit her job as the Harrelson's housemaid she started having a bad feeling that something terrible was going to happen and was going to take place in Algiers point too "but why?" she thought to herself  "and who to?" she thought again, with her hand on her forehead as if she was in deep thoughts but little did she know that the police officers were heading to her small house in Algiers point that faithful Tuesday morning  Elaine knew when something bad was going to take place it was as if she was getting some kind of warning signal from the Lord to be aware.

But that day she had nothing left in the house and she had to buy more groceries she didn't even have a  biscuit in the house no milk, sugar, flour, cooking oil nothing at all. So while she was in her bedroom getting dressed just after her shower, Elaine was just about to run the comb through her jet black hair when she heard the sirens of police cars "I knew it something really bad must have happened up here in Algiers point "she thought with a gruesome picture of an incident after she pushes those thoughts aside in her mind and comb her hair and catch it up in a big bun and cornrow it instead of platting it again. She took up her bag with her holy bible and her huge black journal and her purse in there and left her room she took down her blue knitted sweater from the chair back in the living area and put it on over her top and was now outside locking her house door.

"Well miss Moore  I'm  Dci Robinson and this is my partner chief  Wilson  Dci said pointing to a very tall and more slender white man than himself, 'and you're under arrest for the murder of Victor  Harrelson, you have the right to remain silent miss Moore cause what you say will be used as evidence against you in the court of law  Dci Robinson said taking Elaine's bag away from her hands that he would be able to handcuff her two hands together behind her back  Omg  Elaine thought she couldn't believe what was happening she was speechless for the second time in her life the first it was when she witnessed her parents' gruesome death and then now again,  Dci grab her and pull her into the small car back with him and the chief was driving...
