Chapter 2

On The Run

Alex's P.O.V.

'AHHH' There is nothing better than running away from something that has the intent to kill you if that is what it is ordered to do. I Alex Smith am now running through a park with my family away from a Termenator,a lion-shark-human hybrid that has rows of razor sharp teeth when morphed into a lion about the size of a 4 foot tall person just on all fours and just to add to that it can breathe under water.

We are currenly in Pennisylvania not tell'in which city cause 1) i am trying to protect my family from stalkers and 2) i couldn't tell you if i wanted seeing as i don't have a mother-flippen clue where in Penn. we are. Anyway back to reality."Where are we gonna hide Alex?" Xander asked as he ran up to my left side seeing as Gray was on my right holding a tired,from running, Tarry. ''Haven't got anything....honestly... you?'' i asked.He nodded'' I think there is an alley we can take-off from'' he replied while jumping over a trashcan. ''Sounds good... you guys got that?'' i askef the others Everyone nodded. ''Good lead the way Xander'' i said to him.

Xander pulled ahead of us and turned down a barely noticeable alley he then ran to the end and extended his pale yellow-tan15 foot wing-span and pulled-up above our heads and flew high enough so he wouldn't be seen from the ground. Gray put Tarry down and ran to the end and extended his black-gray 16 foot wings and sailed up silently and hovered next to Xander. Kim ran and was followed by Tim,Kim also extended her tawny with gray flecked 13 foot wings and sailed up tailed by a pair of gray and pale white 12 foot wings which belonged to Tim. Next I oushed Tarry and she began to run and leaped extending her pure white angelic 11 foot wings and flapped tiredly up to the others. I being the last ran when i was about to leap up i was pushed hard to the ground. I winced as i skid to the ground scrapping my hands and knees across the rough worn cement. Over me loomed two full grown Termenators. One that was female smiled snidely and said'' Come with me Alex Hailey Smith''

Did she say what i think she just said? ''Excuse me?'' i said through clenched teeth glaring at her with a look that said '*say that again if you want to die*'. I guess she didn't understand the look because she said again'' Come with me Alex Hailey Smith'' Okay that did it! I jumped up catching them by suprise and punched the woman in her nose getting a satisfying crack. She screamed in agony and crumpled to the floor blood spewing out of her nose. I turned to the other,a man, and snarled'' Want some to!?'' He looked at me with sheer terror and ran out the alley with his partner stubbling behind. I grunted and then ran down the alley wincing from the slight pain in my knees and leaped into the are spreading out my Amber with black tipped 14 foot wings and zoomed up to my family.

''Sorry to keep you guys waiting those guys were being a torn in my side'' i said. l'It's okay Alex.You're not hurt! Are you? Do we need to go teach those Terminaters a lesson? I really wanna kick one of there butts now! Speaking of butts! Alex is yours okay because i sa-'' i slapped my hand over Kim's mounth while my face tinted a slight pink. I looked over at Tim,Xander,and Gray all looking amusedly at thatlittle display. ''Yeah Alexis did you hurt your rear end when you fell on the ground?'' Xander said all too sing-songy like he was mental,which he is, he then flew away once he saw me glaring his way. ''XANDER!!!!!'' i screamed and flew after him as fast as i could.''I'm gonna strangle you till you can't breathe and you die then i'm gonna bring you back and break you wings and legs and throw you into the ocean!!!'' i yelled at him. He looked back at me with sheer terror as i got closer.''P-please d-don't strangle me till i can't breathe and then let me die then bring me back and break my wings and legs and throw me into the ocean!!!'' he cried as i caught up with him and punched him in the arm hard.

''I won't......for now...but you better watch yourself!'' i warned him as we flew back to the others.

Gray's P.O.V.

''Yeah Alexis did you hurt your rear end when you fell on the ground?'' Xander said a little sing-songy like he was mental,which he is, he then flew away once he saw Alex glaring his way. ''XANDER!!!!!'' she screamed and flew after him as fast as she could.''I'm gonna strangle you till you can't breathe and you die then i'm gonna bring you back and break you wings and legs and throw you into the ocean!!!'' she yelled at him. He looked back at her with sheer terror as she got closer.

'*He's dead*' i thought.

''P-please d-don't strangle me till i can't breathe and then let me die then bring me back and break my wings and legs and throw me into the ocean!!!'' he cried as she caught up with him and punched him in the arm hard.

''I won't......for now...but you better watch yourself!'' she warned him as they flew back towards us.

Xander was as peas a ghost and looked like he had been forced to wath a chick-flick.

I smirked at his expression and looked over at Alex who was saying lets find a cave to rest a.

I nodded and flew on her right side threw the sky away from civilization.
