"Why do you always do that?" Cami said closing the space between them, "Why are you pushing me away? Why can't you just let someone in?"
Every muscle in Klaus's body tensed, he couldn't bring himself to answer her. He could have replied with some witty comment, something that would result in pushing her away but Cami saw right through him.
"It's not safe to be close to me," he finally managed to reply in a soft mutter, "I'm a lost cause Cami, why even bother anymore? According to my siblings I'm never going to change." He tried to step away but he couldn't control his body, he couldn't look away from those soulful eyes.
"I don't believe that," Cami said forcefully, "You're just scared. You're nothing but a bitter fearful man!"
