#7 : The Last Love

- No, Shiba, I don't wanna put you in danger because of me. So please stay here so I could have a good reason to come back. says Crow.

- Oh.. okay..

- Okay guys. Let's go there tomorrow. We need rest for tonight. says Kio.

I went laying near Shiba.
- I guess you can't sleep as well. I said to her.

- No one can sleep peacefully actually, except for the kids. She replied without looking at me.

- Yeah.. I said looking above as I was laying and she was doing the same without saying anything.

We were looking out of the window, the black sky with white dots which were stars.
The atmosphere was peaceful bringing smooth wind to us.
Usually at those nights, I'm talkative. But I was nervous to say a thing to her.

- You are so cold to me.. she suddenly said.

- Sorry ?

- You're mean to me. You refuse all the things I ask you.. And it offends me..

- Oh.. then.. I'm sorry.. I never meant to offend you. I said looking at her while she was still looking up.

- Would you still refuse if I ask you something next time ? she asked now looking at me.

- No. I realized I've been rude to you. I'll listen to you more often from now.

- So can I kiss you ?

I felt something in my chest provoked by this question she suddenly asked me. I didn't expect it.

- uh.. uhm.. are you serious ? I asked a dumb question.

- I love you, Crow. Please do not make feel alone again.

Her eyes started shedding tears. She was crying.
I didn't expect that me being mean to her would hurt her that much.
Is she that sensitive ?

- Why are you crying ? I asked whispering.

- Because I like you. she also whispers.

I pulled her closer to me and kissed her. I felt good. The feeling, the vibe, everything was there.
I realized then how much I had become cold after breaking up with Suzy.

- I think you've just changed me. You've opened my eyes, Shiba. I was like a stone until now. And I feel more alive now because of you. I whispered.

- Why were you a stone ? she whispers.

- My ex girlfriend didn't really love me. So after the break up, I stopped believing in love. She was so selfish to the point even after our making up she'd still think about the good times she spent with Wolf, her ex. I was trying to show her my love but she was faking.

She was cuddling my cheek and listening to me without saying a word.

- Now the reason I wanna find her is just to see her alive. I told you, I want you to be the reason I come back here because I don't actually know what could happen there.

- I don't want you to go.. I want you to stay with me. she says whispering.

- Haha.. I want time to stop right now so we could lay like this all night. I whispered.

- Hahaha.. same. I love your whispers.

- I love you.

She kisses me.
- You must sleep now. Good night. :)
