Ashton Irwin was standing at my door. Now if that's not a surprise I don't know what is.

Ashton walked right passed me and towards the other side of the room.

I closed my door as Ashton was frantically pacing around my room fiddling with his fingers.

I'm still super confused on why he's standing in my room right now.

Even though I guess I'd consider Ash a friend, I hardly see him. We're basically only friends because he's friends with Calum. Not that I have anything against Ashton or anything, it's just he's always with Michael. They're like inseperatable.

There was an awkward silence as I decided I'd let him break it since he's the one who's sitting in my room right now.

His hair was tousled and messy and it looked like he just rolled out of bed. He was wearing a t-shirt and a pair or trackies. I wouldn't be suprised if Ashton just rolled out of bed.

He looked up and blurted out "I know it's your lyrics."

Oh fuck. Let's add Ashton to the list of people who know about the lyrics that I never wanted anyone to find.

I decide to play dumb.

"What lyrics?" I asked as I rearranged something on my dresser.

"Kaylie, I know it's you. You're the girl who sent the notes to Michael."

Shit. SOS. Maday.

I kept my roll going, "Michael? Michael Clifford?"

"No dumbass Michael Jackson, Yes Michael Clifford," Ashton replied.

"I don't know what you're talking about."

Deny till you die right?

"Stop. I know it's you."

He took a slip of paper out of his pocket and uncrumbled it.

It was one of the notes that Calum left.

I took it out of his hands and looked at it.

"You're a boy with a real nice smile, but a broken heart inside, give it to a girl, gave it to a girl and i think she lost her ind. Are you giving up and done? Are you through with all this? Are you tired of the pain, torn to piece. Can you let me try?"

I tried to look like I was reading it very slowly with intense care because I was trying really hard to make up some excuse that might get me through these next like 10 minutes.

"These are not mine," I finally said looking up and handing the piece of paper back to Ashton.

"Kaylie, I know you."

"Barley," I mumbled under my breath. But it was true, I never saw Ashton and even if I don't exactly show myself as a hopeless romantic type of girl.

"Actually I think I know more about you then you think I do."

"Oh really?" I countered.

"Yeah I know all about Cal's and yours secret plan," Ashton finally let out.

I should have known it was Calum. Of course Ash knew about Calum's little plan. Man they suck at keeping things from each other.

I wonder if Luke knew too?

"And I'm actually here to help," Ashton continued.

I doubt that.

"Cal explained everything and here I am with another brilliant idea from the mastermind himself."
