Newt opened the door to his cabin and walked right into Tina. She stumbled backward and Newt quickly grabbed her to keep her from falling. He pulled her close.

"I told you I'd always catch you," he laughed.

Tina rolled her eyes.

"What prompted you to stand right outside my door?" Newt asked, pulling her into the cabin and closing the door behind him.

"I wasn't standing there, I was about to knock," Tina protested. "I didn't know you were about to leave."

"You were about to knock?" Newt grinned at her. "When do you ever knock? You're always walking into my house, my case, even my room without knocking. Why is this any different?"

Tina blushed. "I don't know. I just don't know what to do when I'm around you anymore. I don't know why. It kinda reminds me of those few days just after we caught Grindelwald when we would just sit in a room in an awkward silence." She collapsed onto the chair in the room.

"Well, I'm not going to argue with that," Newt said, sitting on the end of his bed.

Tina ran her fingers through her hair. "I don't know. It's probably a combination of our getting engaged and then Queenie coming back the next day." She sighed.

Newt stood up and moved forward. "Are you saying you don't want to marry me anymore?" he asked, smirking slightly.

Tina laughed. "No, I'm just saying that Queenie keeps teasing me."

"Is that why you came in here?"

"Yes, and I wanted to see you."

Newt took Tina by the hands and pulled her to her feet. He slipped his arms around her waist while hers settled around his neck.

"I'm glad you still want to marry me," he whispered, resting his forehead against Tina's.

"I can't think of anything I'd want more," Tina replied. She smiled. "Except maybe not having Queenie on the same boat."

Newt chuckled and moved to close the gap between them, but before their lips could touch, there was a tap on the door. They quickly let go of each other and Newt took a step back.

"Come in," Newt called as Tina returned to the chair.

The door clicked opened and Queenie stuck her head into the room.

"Newt, I just wanted to tell you that Jacob and I are temporarily kidnapping your children." She glared at her sister. "I'm going to ignore that, Tina."

Newt ran a hand through his hair. "Where are you taking them?"

"To the top deck."

"Alright, just keep them out of trouble. I'm pretty sure we're the only magical people on the whole boat, it wouldn't do to have an accident."

Queenie grinned and closed the door.

"See what I mean?" Tina groaned.

Newt grabbed a book and sat on his bed, stretching his legs out in front of him. Tina came over and climbed on the bed beside him.

"I know I complain about my sister a lot, but I really do love her and I hate being so far away from her all the time."

Newt smiled. "I know you do."

Tina looked up at him. "Do you think that, once Modesty and Credence are out of Ilvermorny, we could maybe move to England."

Newt looked at her. He was startled. "But what about your job?"
