"Newt, are you sure about this?" Tina asked, staring at the seemingly solid wall in front of them.
"Of course, I'm sure," Newt chuckled. "Nick trusts me."
Tina looked at their son. Nicholas shrugged.
"He's not lying."
Tina sighed. "Alright, why don't you go ahead."
Nick gripped the handles of his trolley and began walking towards the barrier. When he reached it, he vanished and Tina gasped. Newt laughed.
"Come on, darling." He grabbed her hand and pulled her after their son. Tina squeezed her eyes shut. When she didn't hit anything, she opened them again to see a scarlet engine sitting on the tracks in front of them.
"See," Newt laughed. He turned to Nick. "Let's get you a seat."
Tina and Newt followed their son down the crowded platform until they found an empty compartment. Then they hoisted his trunk onto the train before joining Nick on the platform to say goodbye.
Tina studied her son. His dark hair was the same color as hers but it was as curly and unruly as Newt's. He also had her eyes while his face was covered with millions of freckles.
"I know you'll miss me, mum," he said. "I'll miss you too."
"I know." Tina pulled him into a hug and pressed a kiss to the top of his head. "Promise me you'll write, okay?" she mumbled into his hair.
Nick nodded. "Of course I'll write."
Tina released him so he could hug Newt.
Newt held his son at arm's length and started to say something.
"Yes, dad, I've got everything. I've got my clothes, I've got my wand, I've got my book, I've got your book . . ."
Newt laughed. "Oh, I'm going to miss you."
Tina and Newt both pulled their son into a hug.
"I'll be fine, really," Nick replied to her unvoiced fears. He looked up them. "You both think something's going to happen to me. I'll be fine."
Just then a whistle sounded.
"You'd better get on the train," Newt said.
Nick nodded and reached up to brush a tear off of Tina's face.
"Don't cry, mum. I'll write tomorrow and I'll see you at Christmas."
Tina laughed slightly. She felt Newt slip his arm around her waist as their son climbed onto the train. His head appeared in a window. He leaned out the train as it began to pull away and waved to his parents. Newt and Tina raised their hands and waved until they couldn't see Nick.
Tina slowly lowered her hand. Newt reached up and brushed her tears away.
"He'll be fine."
"I know. I just can't believe it. Our little baby is all grown up and going to school."
Newt smiled down at her. "Time really does fly, doesn't it?"
Tina nodded and Newt pressed a small kiss to her lips.
"I love you, Tina."
"I love you too, Newt."
I want to thank everyone for reading my book. I really enjoyed writing it . . . most of the time. There were a few times I simply didn't know what to write.
This book is over now, but I'm still writing a lot of Newtina. I won't be writing a sequel to this and I won't be starting another book until I've seen the next movie. I really can't wait. However, I'll still be adding one-shots to my book called Their Life and I'll still be writing my book about Newt and Tina at Hogwarts called When We Were Young so check them out if you want.
Once again, thanks for reading. I hope you enjoyed.
