Jian's POV

I decided to take the next month off to go back to Bristol. There were only two weeks left of the term until the next holiday anyway.

I booked a ticket to leave the next morning. Dan agreed to borrow his roommates car and drive me to the airport. A month. A month is what I get to stop thinking about Justin and to get my life back on track.

I hugged Dan as he helped take my suitcase out of the trunk of his roommates little car.

"Bye, see you in a month J. Don't forget about us" he said as he broke our embrace.

I smiled, said my final goodbye and then went into the airport and through customs and security to board my plane. I called my mum to tell her I was about to board and that I would be there in a couple of hours.

I boarded and fell asleep. Before I knew it, I was back in Bristol and I was welcomed by my brother Jonathan and my mum in the airport.

"JIANNNNNNN!" I heard as Jonathan ran towards me. I smiled as I hugged him tightly. I greeted my mum as Jonathan helped me wheel my bag to the carpark.

"How has uni been?" He asked, looking up at me.

"Goo-"

"Do you have a girlfriend" He asked.

"Uhm... Maybe?" I asked sheepishly looking at my mum.

"That's gross" he said looking at me in disgust.

"Well what about Cora?" My mum interrupted.

Turns out Jonathan had a girlfriend; had it really been that long since I was home. Everything seemed to be better. I had a chat with Jonathan and mum in the car and all I can say is that alot had happened.

Jonathan had finished Year 9, had his first kiss,  started to apply for universities! Mum had finally found happiness after her divorce with Dad. She was with some guy called Andrew, who I was supposed to meet? I guess I was just glad that everything was finally okay and that I could spend some time with them after being gone for almost 5 months.
