Chapter 11: Whoa.....

Sky POV:

           I take in a very deep breath. Tigerlily and Emily just dropped me off at my house. The letter, that I got from Ms.Green, was in a green envelope, like everyone else's. I grab my keys and head inside. Mom's home. "Hey mom!" She looked up from the pot she was cooking in, "Hi! Cómo té fue?"  "Bien, um....Mom?" I don't even know how to start. "I have a letter from.....school?" Darn, sounded more like a question then intended.

"Let me see," She put down her spoon and wiped her hands on the red apron she was wearing. I handed it to her, we sat down at the table and she opened it. She finished reading and looked up in shock, "Does....this....." I cut her off, "Mom, I don't understand either....I don't even know why, but......I don't want to be a danger to anybody due to the fact that I have these.....these......powers that I can't control." She's in deep thought right now, and her eyes have a far off look in her dark brown eyes.

I place my hand on hers, "I don't want to be far away either but I think it's best for everyone for me to go. And hey, I'll come back sometimes!" She looked in my eyes, and her eyes were watering. "We'll discuss this at dinner sweetie." With that she got up and went back to the kitchen sniffling.

               

                  -At dinner-

       When everyone got to the table, Mom handed the letter to Dad. After he read it, he re-read it twice. He looked up at me, then at Mom, then me again, "Did you know?" I shrugged, "Yes and no," I explained everything to them like I did with Emily. "I suspected something was up," Mom gave me weak smile. "Ok! Someone please fill me in as to what the heck is going on here? Please?" Fernando asked. We all laughed, "Ok, I guess I will, since I am the reason," Mom stated. "Fernando, what's going on is that Skyler inherited my gift of being a Supernatural." My brothers eyes nearly popped out of his head, "NO WAY! Supernaturals are real?!? And you and Sky are......" Mother nodded then looked at me, "I assume your either and Elementor, Creator, or Blood-bender, no?"

I have no idea what an Elementor or Blood-bender is but I nod my head and say, "Creator." She smiles, "Just like your Grandpa José," I gasped, my mother's side of the family are Supernaturals?!? "Your Grandma Crystal is a Blood-bender and your Tio Alegando is an Elementor," My mom explained. We finished our dinner and I went upstairs. I was about to go in my room when Fernando runs up to me. "Sky! Wait!" I look at him in his light brown eyes. "I wanted to tell you.....I support you 100 percent!" I smiled and hugged him.

"Love you little bro,"

"Love you too big sis,"

We break apart, go to our rooms, and go to bed. It's 10:15 anyway, so yeah.

Tigerlily POV:

           Ten minutes after Emily and I dropped Skyler off at her house, we came to mine. I waved goodbye to Emily. "Later Em, um, see you tomorrow I guess at the enrollment!" She waved back to me. "Hopefully! Later Lily!" With that she walked off and I unlocked my door. Dad's home, yes!  "Dad, we need to talk." I hold out the envelope. "I got accepted into this cool boarding school called SNH or Supernatural High and I feel like it could be a great opportunity, so yeah. Whatcha think?"

I hand him the grey envelope. He opens and reads them. "Sure. I feel like this would be great for you. Does it have a website I could go to?" he said. "Um.... I don't know but you can find out all the details tomorrow at the enrolling." I explained slowly. "Ok. Thank you for letting me know about this." he replied breezily but then tensed up a bit. "Um, sweetheart?" I knew this wouldn't be this easy. "Yes, father?" He stares at me, "What exactly are you? I mean your gift." I think for a moment, "I think they said.........Wisdom and...........Superspeeder.....and.........Mindreader......I think. Why?" He relaxes and then smiles, "You got my Wisdom and your Mother's Superspeed." I gasped.
