I sat on the cream carpet of my living room one evening doing something I did everyday since forever, and that was reading. Well, that and talking to a special guy that I was currently on a video call with on my laptop. I let a laugh trickle from my lips as he raged about something in his current game of Battlefield 4.
Gamers were funny creatures, they raged and raged and complained, yet they continue to play the exact same game they were so mad about. Though I suppose that's one of the quirks I liked about my Shane.
I leaned back against the couch and played with a stand of my messy auburn hair as I thought about how we got to this point. My fingers itched and I knew I was in the mood to write.
My hobby never failed to show itself when I wasn't paying attention and an idea popped into my head. Still listening to the sounds of battle and gunfire coming from my loves side of the call, I clicked over to my favorite writing website. Waypad was by no means my career, but it opened up an entirely new side of me that I didn't know I had.
The idea in my mind was constant as I opened up my works page and added a new one.
"Fuck! Really? Really man, you're going to treat me like that? No, no no no no get the hell away from me. I like my cookies, Nuuu!!!" A lightly timbered voice whimpered.
I smirked at the thought of him getting killed by the enemy in the game. Yes i'm his boyfriend, but no one said I couldn't laugh at his pain ever once in a while.
With the title and description of my new story created, I set the genre and rating options to categorize my story. With a crack to my fingers and a roll of my neck, I clicked the icon that would add a new part to my story and began typing the words that desperately tried to leave my mind.
Apparently Shane heard the furtive taps of my fingers across the keyboard because he tilted his head in a way that reminded me of why I sometimes called him "pup".
"Ry, what are you doing?"
My light brown gaze met his amber one and I found an involuntary smile forming on lips.
"Writing an old story." I replied. He raised a dark blonde brow and gave me a look that said he wasn't buying it.
"Another one? What about your other story, you're not even finished with it!" He irritatingly inquired. He would point that out.
"I know I know, but i'm pretty sure you'll like this one. In fact, i'm certain that you will." A smirk formed on my lips and he smiled.
"Well then, what's it about?"
I gazed at his amber eyes and hugged one of my knees to my chest and rested my chin coyly on it. With a slight tilt to my head, my mass of hair fell to one side and I simply gave him one clue.
"Two childhood friends and a love like no other."

Ok people, yes I know that I should be writing more in my story, "Evoke", but hey, I got a request and it won't be denied! Please, no hate. I'm saying it now because I will not tolerate it. I have a temper, I admit it, I accept it, hell I embrace it. This story is dear to my heart and this is a hobby. With that said, I hope you like what I have to write as much as I do.
Bye for now my lil vampires! ;3
