As you unload a box, your phone dings in your right pocket. The faded blue skinny jeans you are wearing have the Galaxy S8 glued to your butt. Your loose gray shirt makes a swishing sound as you stand up and grab the phone to answer the message. Having to sit down the ceramic vase you were holding, you scoot past small piles of brown boxes to sit the item on. As you pick up the phone - black case rubbery in your hand - you look down at the text. It's from bigshot Sebastian Doggart. The message reads: "Hey, Y/F/N Y/L/N, I heard you were wanting a shot in the new movie I'm shooting, Lost In Our Minds, so I looked at your resume and you look chose you for the main actress, Alyse Blackwood. I hope to see you here at the studio at 11:00 A.M. on Monday. Here is one of the actress' numbers in case you need to talk to her about something. Her name is Aubrey Ash."

You grab a sheet of lined paper that was sitting beside the vase and jot down the actress's number quickly, then answer Sebastian back with a "Thank you," and "Hope to see you soon," then add the other number into your phone. After naming the contact, you message them. Your text reads: "Hello, Aubrey Ash, it's Y/F/N Y/L/N. I'm going to be playing Alyse Blackwood in Lost In Our Minds and Sebastian gave me your number in case I need something. I wanted to message so you would have my contact in your phone. Thanks."

After you finish putting most of your stuff away that was in the cardboard boxes piled up in your living room like stalagmites in a cave, you take a rest and recline on the white leather L-shaped sofa. Your large television is hanging up on a the wall over a pale yellow brick fireplace.  Before moving, your grandparents had passed away side-by-side during the night and in their will, they had said that their first-born daughter and her husband (if there was to be one) would receive the money and land in North London. It was only a small apartment, but someone had modernized it so it was like something straight out of Los Angeles, California.

About to fall asleep, something makes you jolt yourself to consciousness. You automatically realize the buzz as the sound of your phone and look to see what it is. Just as you open the first message, another one arrives, making your hand feel like it was just on one of those Chuck E. Cheese's games where you stick your hand on it and try to see how far you can get. You never really get too far.

The messages are from Aubrey and she sounds happy and excited to meet you: "Hey, Y/N! I heard Doggart saying something about that and I've been wanting to meet you sometime off of the set."

The second message was shorter and an invitation: "Maybe we should meet up tonight at The Famous Royal Oak. The address is 73 St. James Lane. How about we meet around, say, 8:30 P.M.?"

You message back and say yes and that you'd love to meet then. Looking at the clock, you see it's almost 4:00 and you need to start getting ready. You head to the bathroom and start your three hour long makeover.
