"Okay, Taron, you need to sit in the vehicle. Y/N will get in a bit after you start the car."

You watch as Taron slides easily into the passenger side of the olive green Jeep Compass. The bite of the chilly wind licked at your cheeks, then passed almost as fast as it appeared.

The Jeep started and you walked over, making sure the cameras caught the part where you had to smile and open the door.

"Hey, babe." Taron said. You forget he was in part for a second and almost crack a smile. You hold it back and peck a kiss on his cheek.

"Hey. I have a surprise for you. I have a feeling you'll like it." you say, and reach for the phone in the backseat that you've been meaning to give him as a birthday present.

"Jonathan," you say, holding the small box wrapped in glossy silver paper.

He looks at it sideways, a smile spreading across his face. He looks back up at you. "Aw, thanks. You didn't have to do this, you know? I love you."

He kisses you, then takes the box from your hands and opens it. A smile spreads across your face. This one isn't fake. The way he kissed you makes your heart feel giddy and warm.

"Good," Sebastian whispers from the ditch, "show your true emotion."

The windows are down in the vehicle, more so you can hear the director and his orders than for the scene. Doggart wanted to film it outside and not greenscreen because he said that was "too fake" and he wanted it to be real. Of course, though, that meant you would actually have to drive.

He opened the box and you start to back out of the driveway. You know this area, but you have to look both ways. Sebastian borrowed your house for the movie. Hey, atleast he's paying you.

"Wow, babe," Taron said to you, coating on a bit too much enthusiasm, "I love it so much. Thanks."

He took the phone out of the box and marveled over it. Coating on a smile, you drove down the road and toward Highgate. The camera on the dash was recording now, and you had to make sure you didn't look straight at it. It was hard trying to restrain yourself from looking at something for that long, but you somehow make it.

Taron pecks you on the cheek. "I can get it set up when we get back home. So, Alyse, where are we going."

"Well, Jonathan, I can't say exactly," you carry that word out, "what and where it is, but it's about thirty-four minutes away with no stopping and no distractions, so we can have some nice conversations still." You smile and pat your hands on the wheel a couple times, never moving the palms of them.

After driving for a few more minutes, scene-wise, the director calls you on the phone after the camera stops rolling.

"Hey, so we're gonna have the crash scene right now, okay? You need to act really scared, just like you practiced. You've been great so far, though, okay?" Doggart says through the phone.

Taron and you answer with a yes and then the camera starts again. You can tell because you hear a small click as it powers on.

An ear-splitting beep give you the perfect reaction to being hit by something. It tells you that you need to start acting crazy. The car is pulled over, so you don't have to worry about actually crashing into something. Paper flies around you and the wrapping paper and box Taron's phone was in flies at your face, and you flinch away from it. You're surprised how you went from bad to perfect after about a week of practicing alone and onset. More of the things (like glass and metal pieces) that would normally be thrown around are going to be special effected in.

"Good scene! That's a wrap. We'll see you all next week. Practice and get ready. Alyse, please see me." Sebastian said, dismissing everyone as you got back to the studio.

You walked over to him as the producer and executive producer clear out. Taron waits by the door, just out of ear-shot. "Yes, Mr. Doggart?" you ask.

"I saw you are doing exceptionally good in this role and I wanted to congratulate you. I will see you next week. Practice makes perfect." he winked, then walked away.

"So," Taron said, "You were good out there."

"You too." you say, remembering the looks he used. They were so real in your mind. "You are a great actor."

"And you're a great actress." he said.

As you walk outside, the sun almost blinds both of you, but you shield your face from the sun. Taron does the same.

Taron pushes you up against the metal siding of the building and presses his lips to yours.

"Bye, Y/N. I'll talk to you later." Taron says, walking to his vehicle.

"Bye." you breathe out, not finding the strength to say any more.
