Breathless || Taron Egerton [✔️]

Baby Shower

White and gold balloons were decorated around your living room. Confettie and streamers were placed everywhere. Sunlight streamed in through the window, giving off a heavenly glow. 

"Wow. It looks so beautiful." Aubrey said, coming up behind you. 

Her dark brown hair is piled on top of her head in a perfectly round bun. A white dress hugs her slender body and black heels make her about four inches taller. She puts an arm around your shoulder, a drink in her other hand. 

"Too bad there are no alcoholic beverages." she winks. 

More people are walking around talking to each other. They're mostly co-workers and some of Taron's family (parents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.).

Taron turns his head and winks at you, then turns back to some of his friends.

"You look lovely, Y/N." someone says from behind you. You turn around to see who it is. Taron's mom and dad.

"Oh, thank you so much." you say, looking down at your golden dress and white heels. A bit of glitter gets in your eye and you try to get it out without it seeming to obvious. It obviously comes from your eyeshadow.

"We don't approve about you and Taron having the baby before marriage, but we do think you will make an amazing parent." Mrs. Egerton says.

The fact that she said "parent" makes you think she might be skeptical about Taron and you staying together.

"I appreciate that, thank you." you answer. Taron comes over and puts his arm over your shoulders.

"Time for presents." he says. His parents smile at you two, then walk away.

Taron holds on to your shoulder while you walk over the the table with presents on it. They're a variety of colors. Most are white with gold stripes, dots, or chevron.

After opening them - and hugging everyone - you stare at what you got. The majority of them are different baby toys and stuff, diapers, a bouncer, baby bottles, bibs, pacifiers, etc., and others are household objects. Taron's parents made two identical blankets.

"Now, let's pop the big balloons." you say, gesturing towards two giant, black balloons hanging in the middle of the room. They both have a pink question mark beside a blue question mark painted on them. Taron hands you a large needle.

You rub your stomach and take the needle. People are holding each other's hands. Some are clasping their hands in front of theirselves. They're all murmuring between themselves.

You pop the first one and bright blue confetti falls out all over you. You scream and a huge smile spreads across Taron's face. He's holding his own hands. Walking over to the next one, a large smile on your face, you close your eyes and pop it. People are screaming and cheering. One person yells "Congratulations!" and you open your eyes. More blue confetti is still falling and you cheer along with them. Taron runs over to you and you hug each other. He kisses you long and slow. The cheering fades as you focus only on the kiss.
