"We need to get to work Joe", I said looking at my watch.

"Can I come", Dawn looked at me with her soft eyes and smiled. "No you can stay here with with Caitlin and Cisco", I answered.

"We can have so much fun", Cisco said to Dawn. "I know your definition of fun, last time you babysat me I watched the walking dead with you when I started having nightmares you freaked out and told my dad I was grounded for a month."

"ha, that sounds like something Iris would do", Cisco said. "Right", I said laughing. "I want to see your job Please",Dawn whimpered. "No"

"please Barry", Iris said looking at me.

"Ok", I said in defeat knowing I can't win.

"Thank you, thank you", Dawn said jumping up and down. "yes I get to go to your job"

"prepared to get bored", I told Dawn she looked at me confused.

"How could I your the director of the C. S. I department thats so cool", Dawn looked like she was about to burst with excitement.

"No I'm not, not yet anyway.", I corrected. "Oh then what do you do", her eyes looked right back at me. "I'm a forensics assistant", I said.

"fine", I said looking at Dawn. "But before we go wanna race", Dawn asked me. "what no", I refuse to race a child expecially an amateur. "Just race the child", Iris said.

"ok, ok", I said time Iris. "3, 2, Dawn counted...go

"wait what", then Dawn was gone. We both arrived at the same time "so it's a tie", We both said at the same time.

"Barry your late again", I turn my head to see captain Singh walking towards us.

"who's this", Singh said ignoring my apology.

"Hi I'm Dawn, Dawn..." "Smythe" I finished. "Really", she wispherd to me.

"I'm captain sign how do you know Barry", he asked Dawn.

"well umm he's my mommy's friends their on a cruise so I'm staying with him for a few day, um I mean weeks maby months"

"Months!?", Captain said in shock.

"I mean that cruise", I said. "Barry can you come to my office for a second", I Can see he was getting suspicious. "Yah sure", I turned to Dawn, "stay here", I quickly said. She nodded and I followed Captain Singh into his office.

"what's going on", Singh said.

"What are talking about", I told him. "Barry look...",

"Ok nothing going on", I said cutting my Boss off.

"Then whose that little girl", I felt this pain in my heart that I was doing a big mistake lying to my Boss. "She told you her name is Dawn and her parents are at a hotel", I said continuing to lie." I thought She said they were on a cruise", he looked at me not amused that I just flat out lied to his face.

"Um", I studdard. "Barry", Dawn said walking into the room. Just tell him he knows where I'm from", "knows what", Captain singh asked Dawn. "My name isn't actually Dawn Smythe it's Dawn Allen",

I don't understand, he immited. "I'm his daughter",Dawn Said "how's that even possible, I never herd Allen ever having a kid with Someone does Iris even know". She's from the future he looked at me confused. "My daddy is the flash", "Dawn"!, I Said nearly Shouting. "Sorry, I'm the rip the bandage off fast kind of person".

"Oh I know you were the flash along time ago",Singh said.

"You did", I said surprised. "yup, but that doesn't explain how time travel is possible", he looked at Barry confused.

"I can run so fast I can travel through time"

"have you ever time traveled before" I looked down and fidgeted with my hand "if you did that's pretty cool", Singh said with a smile. "Can I go now sir", I said feeling a bit uncomfortable. "yes you can go now".

"Ok", Dawn followed behind me. "Barry", I turned and faced my Boss. "Yea does Joe and Iris know?", he asked me.

"yea"

"ok"

"So the lighting, came though here", Dawn said pointing up. "Yea", I told her.

"Cool I mean not cool"

"do you know when Malcome killed that doctor", I asked Dawn. "Since 2018 I think, Dawn replied. "2018 really that's what that homicide this morning was he killed that retired Doctor", I felt my blood boil inside me even if all of that was true and that Doctor did do all those things to us it did not give anyone the right to murder. "We Will don't worry you'll find him, Dawn said.

"or he'll find you, well, well, well look what the cat dragged in", I turned around and was surprise at who I saw.
