My thoughts are an ocean,
forever caught in constant motion. My sanity is a small boat,
simply trying to stay afloat. My soul is this vessel's captain,
but sometimes it only seems to know Latin.Right now the water is calm,
the wheel turns easily in my spirit's palm. It's sadly not always this way,
as the boat doesn't always gently sway. This ocean in my head is unpredictable
and is so unmerciful. The boat is in shambles
from these frequent battles. My soul cries in agony
at this calamity.But...
You must understand
how much I can withstand.I've been this way all this time,
and while you may see this as a crime,
you must know I'm in my prime.I'm getting stronger with each line,
almost by design.~~~~~
I noticed that I tend to write very dark poems, and while this is dark, I tried to leave it on a happy note. You can tell me if I succeed (I honestly don't feel like I did *sweatdrop*).
