This may be the last time I write about you
I'd like it to be
But life has funny twists
Its hard to keep my wits when you're running through my mind
I only wanted to be the happiness you seek to find
I only wanted to bind us together so tight nothing could tear us apart
I knew from the start nothing lasts forever
And almost everything ends in tears
But atleast we had a start
And many ends over the yearsContent to watch you talk
Smiling as you laugh
Tripping over my knees you had me in stitches
Now Im gonna need stitches
I've been told Im dramatic
I've been told Im erratic
With no hand to hold Im told Im cold
Depends on who's asking and who wants to knowApparently I swallow everything but my pride
Supposedly there isnt a situation I haven't lied to get out of
If you ask me...
Scratch that dont ask me
My answer would depend on the time and place
As see-through yet discreet as lace
Someone said its just a phase
Another said I'm like the moon, waxing and waning in phases
Im asking questions
Taking surveys
Wondering if we'll be reduced to sideways glances on walkways
Cracks turn to faults as I count my faults
Under pressure we drifted apart
Tension's enough to strike a chord
But Im not in a musical mood
May this be the last time I write about you
I hope you never read it
