I woke up to an empty spot next to me. Carter stayed the whole night. Or so I think he did. I felt so relieved and so alive. That was literally our first time having sex. It was amazing.

I'm not even upset that he left. I got up to put my clothes on and as soon as I put my shorts on in came Josiah with his dinosaur shouting "Roar" at me.

I just laughed. "Hi Mommy." He said and came up to me hugging me. "Hi Josiah are you hungry?" I asked and he said "Panakes." Showing his little teeth and smiling. "Okay Pancakes ." I smiled at him.

"Good Morning Princess. How'd you sleep?" I looked up to see Carter with stuff in his hands.

"See Mommy Panakes." He said pointing to Carter's bags.

"Hey I thought you left last night." I said scratching my head. "Nahh I stayed and grabbed some breakfast with Josiah." He said smiling.

Okay I don't know about him but he can't just go off with other people's children. "Did you use the seat for him to sit on cause you know you can't just have him-"

"Brianna... calm down. I got his seat from your car. Jackson took your car to go see someone name Jason and gave me the seat in case we went somewhere plus he was up and you were still sleep I didn't want to wake you." He told me kissing my forehead. I nodded.

"Okay well let's eat and get you dressed little man." I said to Josiah and he giggled as I picked him up. Attacking his face with kisses.

Standing in the door of the church waiting for everyone who's attending to come. I contacted my moms cousins and aunts on her side of the family. I don't expect them to come but if they show up than it's much appreciated.

"Hey you okay?" Carter came up behind me and put his hand on my shoulder. "Yeah I'm okay." I said and looked over to see a familiar face.

He smiled at me and my heart stopped literally seeing a familiar face. He smiled at me. It was Aaron. He walked up to me. I tried not to stare at his disgusting face.

"Well isn't this just a pleasant surprise ?" He said grinning from ear to ear. Staring back at him I just handed him the booklet.

"Not gonna greet your guest? Wow Brianna." He said snatching it and walking off. "Even I have manners." I scoffed.

He left her there to die. They said they found my mother on the floor dead. She was doped up on Heroine. No one else around her. Her body laying there for three days. He let this happen to her.

He's the reason she started doing drugs in the first place. I will never understand what she saw in Aaron. My father would be so disappointed.

Just than Gigi popped up in front of my face smiling. "Hi there." She said and I smiled back. "Hey." I said giving her a hug. We stayed there for a minute hugging each other. I let go and pulled back. She sighed. "Sorry for your lost." I waved her off. "No need we both knew this was going to happen sooner than later." I said.

"Yeah all the stories you've told us I'm honestly surprised she lasted this long." Gigi said wiping her forehead.

"Yeah you and me both." I rolled my eyes. "So are you in town for good?" She asked me. We started walking into the church.

"Well no I live down in Miami and so does Jackson. I have school to go too also. So I want to finish that out first than see where the rest takes me." I told her. "Well I'm proud of you Bri.. even though we fell out of a friendship I'm still proud. You're a single parent and still moving forward. Is Josiah here?" She asked excited.

"Thanks that means a lot and yeah he is you'll see him he's here somewhere with Jackson." I said with a giggle. We walked inside the church and found our seats for the service to start.

I stood outside the door of the church giving people hugs and sharing laughs. "The ceremony was lovely Brianna." My Aunt Sasha said hugging me. "Thank you. Keep in touch Aunty." I kissed her cheek and she walked away.

I'm surprised some of my family members came. It was shocking. "Mommy." I heard Josiah's voice.

Turning around I seen him running towards me. I grabbed him. Kissing his cheeks.

"Hey are we going heading home tonight or are we going to Carter house for little while?" Jackson asked.

I rolled my eyes.

He wants to see Jason. "Jackson you can go see Jason. You horny rabbit. I'll be in my hotel room and not Carter's house."

He smirked at me

"You're very loud you know ?" Jackson said and I Nudged him. "Shut up."

I picked up Josiah and turned around and froze.

"Oh shit." I heard Jackson say.

"Jackson take Josiah with you." I said handing him Josiah. "Yup good idea." He said and walked away.

I walked down the stairs and met him at the end of the steps.

"Brianna."

I sighed. "Darren."
