The Muslim army was once marching through a mountain pass on both sides of which the enemy lay hidden. The Muslim did not know of the position of the enemy, who began to shoot. This frightened the horses and camels of the Muslims, and the riders lost control of them.

The holy prophet with only sixteen followers was left among an army of four thousand enemies. The rest of the Muslim forces were spread out in all directions.

The holy prophet, quite unafraid, advanced his horse towards the enemies. Seeing this, the few followers with him did not at first know what to do, but soon one quickly got down from his horse and caught hold of the holy prophet's horse and said:

"The enemy is advancing, the Muslim army is scattered, and the safety of Islam depends on your safety; please go back, so that the Muslims may come together.

"Do not hold my horse and let it go,"
Said the prophet.
Then he said in a loud voice:

"I am the prophet of God, i am not a teller of lies."

Saying these words, he advanced towards the enemy. No human hand could harm him. The prophet then ordered one of his followers to call to the flying Muslims in a loud voice, saying:

"You men of Medina, the prophet of God calls you."

One of the prophet's followers later said:

"Our horses and camels had become badly frightened and were running away from the battle; all our efforts to turn them back failed. When we heard this call, it appeared as if it were the voice of God speaking to us, and i became impatient. The words 'the prophet of God calls you' kept ringing in my ears. When i saw that my camel was still carrying me away from the battle, i took my sword and killed it. Then i ran like a mad man towards the the place from which the voice came."

This man says that all Muslims felt the same. Those who could turn their horses or camels, came back, and those who could not do so, got down, left their mounts and ran towards their master. Within a few minutes of his call all Muslims had gathered round him, as thought the dead rising at the sound of the trumpet if the angel Israfeel.
Innalillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun...🙉🙉🙉🙉 whenever i come across this name dear readers, wallhi tallahi i feel fever,😫😫😫😬 i fell like he is coming to get me...right now there is tears in my eyes😭

ISRAEFEEl😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Sorry i get too emotional.

The holy prophet always told his followers that they should never be the first to attack, but should only fight in self defence to protect themselves, moreover he laid down a law that they were to kill in battle neither women nor children, nor ministers of religion, nor old men, nor those unfit for war..

Again those that laid down their swords should not be killed. Fruit trees must not be cut down, nor buildings destroyed, nor valleys and towns be robbed and pillaged. If ever he heard that these orders were not obeyed he was very angry.

When the time came for the prophet to conquer mecca, the people there were much afraid of the treatment they might receive. But when he entered mecca he gathered the Meccans together and said:

"O you people, i forgive today all the wrongs which you have done to me, you shall not be punished."

The wars which the prophet fought show his noble character, his love for peace, his mercy and forgiveness, because he alone is truly merciful who has the power to show mercy and does show it.

He alone deserves to be called generous who possesses riches and gives them away. The all- powerful God allowed the prophet to conquer his enemies and he forgave them all.

He did himself what he commanded others to do. He suffered for the sake of God. He died at the age of sixty-three, having spent the whole of his life in preaching the one and only God, and whatever support we find in the world today for this teaching is the result of the efforts of the holy prophet and of those who followed him.

THE PROPHET'S LAST SERMON

The prophet made his last pilgrimage in A.H. 102. The whole country had now accepted Islam. As many as 120,000 people from all parts of Arabia came to mecca on this occasion. What a wonderful sight! The very place, where, at the beginning of his teaching, the prophet was not only disbelieved but also persecuted and forced to make his escape, was now the scene of this great gathering of his faithful followers.

The holy prophet knew now that the work he had been given to do on earth had been done. His efforts had met with success such as has never come to another man. He knew that he would soon leave this earthly life.

The sermon which the prophet preached on his occasion was not an ordinary one and no better time could have been chosen for it. This was a place where there had never been battles and killing.

The great crowd of people had come to give thanks to God and to ponder over his greatness, putting away for the time the thought of all worldly things.

Here, everybody was equal, there was no sign of difference between king and poor man. All met as brothers and equals to give honour to their lord on high. This sacred place, therefore, all Muslims must try to visit at least once in their lifetime.

The prophet was seated on a camel and the people were gathered round him in the valley of Mina. His words were passed on by other speakers so that they could be heard by all. Here is the prophet's last sermon:

"'Listen to my words, for i do not know if i shall meet you again in this place. Do you know what day this is? It is YAUM - UN - NAHR, the day of sacrifice. Do you know what month this is? This is the holy month. Do you know what this place is? This is the Holy Town. So in this holy place and at this holy time, i tell you that your lives, your properties and your honour must be considered as sacred to one another as this holy day, in this holy month, in this holy town. Let those present take this message to those who are absent."👌

"You will one day meet your lord, who will judge you for all things you have done."👌

"This day all sums of money due as interest are obliterated. This day all revenge for murders done in the days before Islam is banned."👌

"Remember, O my people, you have certain rights over your wives, and so have your wives over you; they are the trust of God in your hands. So you must treat them with all kindness."👌

"And as to your slaves, take care that you give them the same food which you yourself eat, and clothe them as you clothe yourselves."👌

"O people! Listen to what i say and remember it. You must know that every Muslim is the brother of every Muslim. You are all equal and have equal rights and duties. You are all brothers."👌

"None of you may take from his brother anything which that brother would not willingly give."👌

"Do not act unjustly to your servants, do not take away their rights."👌

At the end of his sermon the prophet lifted up his hands and asked:

"Have i conveyed that which God commanded me to convey?"

"You have done it"

Answered the crowd. Then the prophet asked those present to deliver his message to those absent.
