Flashback..
I skipped happily on the way home and proceeded to our doorstep. Nung binuksan ko ang pinto.... GAAAAAH! The look of pure, unutterable horror painted my face.
"Where were you?"
Si Kuya, bow.
"Do you have any idea what time it is? Is this a normal time for a college student to be going home?"
It's only 6 pm!! For once, I wanted to stand up to him! Ah! Since panaginip ito, I think I can do it...?
"Maria So—"
Sakto lang~ Tamang tama for a family of four. Oh, since we're already on the topic of my family let me introduce you to my kindred! Ahiyeee~
Firstly, the breadwinner of the family is my Daddy, Vicente Esteban Milano. Isa siyang seaman, so maaari niyong sabihin na medyo may kaya yung pamilya namin. His siblings are all professionals at sa ibang bansa na naninirahan! But, most of all, it's because we love our country! Mabuhaaaaay!!
Secondly, the lamppost of our family (Tama ba ito? Or Lamp nalang? Or di kaya Light? Pero parang mas may effect ang lamppost eh... lol whatever!), as in ilaw ng tahanan, Maria Clara Florentina Esperanza Isidora Octa—hahaha! Just jokin!
Anyway, her real name is Serafina Eloisa Milano. Wait... Serafina. That means angel in Spanish right? Eh? Ahhhh! Move on na Sophie! Let it gooooo~ Okay, moving on na, my goodness!
Hamak lang na housewife ang Mother Earth ko, nothing really special about her. That's if you ignore the immeasurable amount of weapons and gadgets she hides in her hidden closet! Akala niya walang nakaka-alam about what she's concealing in the confines of her secret compartment. Well, that is in fact true kasi walang kamuang-muang ang kanyang asawa at anak na lalaki of her covert identity. WAHAHAHA! Covert identity. Parang James Bond eh, 007! Si Mama 008! Anyway, yeah, I stumbled upon her chamber of secrets in the middle of my high school life. Tinago niya kasi yung Gameboy ko because exams were coming up. Eh may pagka-Lara Croft ako, so I accidenta—expertly, uncovered her lifelong secret. I'll just let her be.
You might be wondering why I call my mother Mama, whereas I call my father Daddy. Idyot ka ba Sophie?? You don't even know how to pair simple, household words? Get an education! HUMYGHAAAA—HEP! Tumahimik!! There is an acceptable reason why I do this! Di ba I call my father Daddy kasi mayaman siya? Well, my mother's family, on the other hand, is not so blessed with riches. It's not that I stereotype farmers as poor people! I think farmers are also wealthy. That's the reason why I call my mother Mama and my father Daddy. Gets? Good!

FantasyThey say when you die your whole life flashes before your very eyes. In a sense those sayings were true because I had personally experienced it. But, when I thought I had spent my last day here on Earth, I only opened another chapter to my book of L...
