Chapter 35..
I slid down to the bottom of my bed and rested my head on the sheets. My bed felt so nice and warm in the mornings. I listened to mum and John cooking food from the kitchen and I could smell the bacon from a mile away. Today was the third week I had been out of school and so far my life contained sleeping , eating and talking to the boys. Nothing was happening at all, was my life always going to be this dull?. I slid out of the blankets and walked down the stairs into the kitchen to see Brooke talking to my mum.
“ what the hell are you doing here?” I ask in a harsh tone.
“ Gabby, that’s not very nice” Mum says shocked.
“ outside NOW!!” I say pointing.
Brooke sighs and walks out of the house with me slamming the door behind me.
“ what are you doing here?” I ask.
“ just came for breakfast”
“ why!!”
She gives me a small smile. “ because that’s what you do for friends”
“ your not my friend.. I thought you knew that!”
She shrugs her shoulders. “ so..”
“ please , go home , stop trying to talk to me and leave me alone.”
She starts to walk away before saying one more thing.
“ I’m going to University in America , this will be the last time you see me”
“ congrats”
I slam the door behind me and stare at mum.
“ she’s not my friend”
“ well I didn’t know that sweetie”
I start to make my way upstairs when I get called back down.
I slowly walk into the kitchen to see mum holding a peace of paper..
“ what’s that?” I ask.
She gives me a smile and hands me the peace of paper.
