*KAITLYN'S POV*
I woke up to soft lips pressed against my cheek.
"Morning..." I mumbled
"Morning my beautiful love."
I smiled blushing kissing his cheek, "I could be woken up like that everyday." I said smiling.
"I could wake you up like that for the rest of my life." Max said pressing his lips to mine gently.
"Where are we going today?" I asked curious.
"EPCOT- Experimental Prototype of Tomorrow." Max said trying to sound professional.
I nodded at him. "I know what it stands for." I laughed.
"A good tour guide gives the full name of places." He said, again trying to sound professional.
"Just shut up and kiss me." I said.
His arms wrapped around my waist, my head in the perfect spot, right where I could hear his heart beating. He tilted my chin up with his index finger, staring into my eyes, as I looked back into his. His hands moved from my waist to my face, cupping it in his hands. His head leaned down to mine, capturing my lips in his. Our lips moved in sync again as my hands went to the back of his head.
After we pulled apart, taking a breath of air, I smiled up at him, "I love you." I said smiling.
"I love you too." He said smiling.
We walked out of our room walking through the resort. We got to the monorail, waiting in line for it. I leaned close to Max resting my head on his shoulder. We talked about nonsense, "you're so weird." I said laughing at him.
"But you love me." He said smiling.
"Yeah, sadly." I said stifling my laughter.
"Don't lie." He said looking down at me. "You love me and you know it."
I laughed, "yeah I do." I said kissing him gently.
We kept our conversation somewhat quiet, barely talking above a whisper. "Excuse me." An older woman said. 'Oh shit, we are going to be reprimanded by a stranger for showing affection in public.' I thought.
"Yes?" Max asked wrapping his arm around me.
"Are you two together?" She asked
"Yes. We are." I said happy to admit so.
"It's amazing to see such a young couple in public who aren't eating one another's faces. Just showing a little affection. He's showing everyone you are his. I find that quite adorable. My husband and I were the same way when we were younger." She said sounding sad as she talked about her husband.
"Is everything alright?" I asked worried that she would break down into tears any second.
She nodded meekly, "He passed away about a month ago, it been hard on our family. I remember it was our anniversary when Disney opened and he took me here as a surprise. I'm sharing the memories with my grand kids." She said tears welling in her eyes.
My heart sank. Multiple things rushed through my head; what it would feel like to lose Max, what my grandfather felt when my grandmother passed away, everything. "I'm so sorry for your loss." I said feeling terrible.
"Thank you," she said. "You two have a great time, don't act like those other couples, okay?" She said laughing gently.
We both nodded and gave the wonderful woman a hug. She went back to standing in her line for the monorail. I smiled at Max leaning into his side. He kissed the top of my head as the monorail arrived and came to a halt in front of us. We boarded and soon arrived outside of Epcot.
