<BAKUGO'S POV>
I needed deku back, badly.
I didn't know here he was, nor the status deku was in right now; but my instincts made me run to the roof, panting.
"DE- IZUKU!"
I saw a boy, shakingly writing in his notebook, covered with tears. Next to him were pages filled with slobbly written writing- though i couldn't read any of it.
'God dammit deku..'
"DEKU GOT OFF THE EDGE RIGHT NOW!"
That boy- his old best friend- his targeted victim, turned around with his similar pleasant smile, taken over by depression.
His once openly glimmering eyes was not to be seen. I can't believe I've never noticed that significant detail that made him stand out. Now replaced with gloomed eyes; that's one thing I'll never have back.
His once clean arms, now covered with cuts and scars- some new, some old. He looked like whole new person, yet he was still regonizable.
That boy standing over the edge looked as if he was ready to die.
I didn't know what to do.
Should I just stand here?
Should I run and grab him?
Should I hug him instead?
I've never felt guilt as painful as this.
"K-kacchan. Go a-away."
