Arthit's POV:

Daeng and I left campus together in my car. This kid sure is a car enthusiast and I could appreciate that because his expression when he say my car was priceless. We didn't talk much on the way to the hotel. After one week with this kid, I thought we'd get closer. I mean we have gotten closer but we still don't talk much, only when necessary.

After we got off the car just before entering the hotel doors, I grabbed his wrist. "Ai'Daeng? Thank you for agreeing to do this. I don't know what would happen from this point on but if anything-" I couldn't bring myself to express what I was feeling. I have so much to say but I don't know how. I am grateful but worried. Worried of the outcome. If it's just me it would be fine but now I am dragging this boy with me and I'm starting to regret my choices. Daeng have been nothing but good. Sure the circumstance of our meeting initially made me hate his guts for his lack of mannerism but

He released his wrist from my hold and put it around my shoulders. "Aww P'Oon. I've given my consent and agreement so whatever happens from this point, we'll take it like a man. Haha" He tried to joke. Haish honestly this kid always so positive it irks me sometimes but for now I'm grateful. This kid is too nice for his own good, can I adopt him?

"Let's go P'" he broke my train of thought. Arthit what are you doing? Focus ok we can think about adopting this brat later. He dragged me into the hotel. I know he is nervous but he's trying to hide it behind his usual playful self.

We are holding hands now. Looks like our plan is in motion already. Mae said they will be meeting in one of the restaurant's private room. We informed the staffs and they led the way to the room.

We are nearing and I could feel my hands shaking and Daeng's hands felt really cold but it still felt reassuring a little. We've reached the door and the staff left us with a smile. We shared a stare and look back to the door. I could hear laughter and mumbling behind the door and I could recognise a couple of the voices. I could hear Daeng gulp and I took a deep breath and in we go.

I swung the door open, hand still holding Daeng's and a smile plastered to my face. I hope it's a convincing enough smile especially with all this wreck I'm feeling inside.

We're in the presence of six people who have now fell utterly and completely silent. I saw Mae's face frozen and my Por had this uneasy crease across his brows and both eyes were on our hands.

"Good evening everyone." I mustered a greeting. Before eyeing everyone else in the room.

I saw an old man with a raised brow sitting next to Por, probably wondering who the boy next to me is. Oh that's my Bpoo Ja. I had the honour of meeting my 'grandpa' a few times in my not so long life and honestly I can tell you, I know exactly where Por have gotten all his sassy and ingenious traits from.

Across them must be my fiancee's family. A couple about my parents' age were smiling softly at me but I know they are internally trying to make sense of the scene in front of them now. And next to the man was an elderly man about Bpoo Ja's age. He had a similar look on his face as my Por but the odd thing was his gaze was directed to Daeng.

I could feel Daeng getting uneasy. He grasped my hands a little tighter. I shook our hands a little to comfort him and moved closer to the table. I didn't dare look into my parents' eyes but I braved myself to face the strangers. I held our hands up higher and declared, "Sirs, madam" I bowed my head a little, "I'm sorry if this would offend you in any way but I cannot carry on with this engagement." Wow I'm impressed at how I didn't even stutter.

I gestured to Daeng, who is finding the tableware extremely interesting for some reason, before continuing, "I have a lover and this is my lover."

"What?!" Por was on his feet and face full of rage, I had no courage to look whereas Bpoo Ja had the same expressions as before but now with an amused smirk playing at his lips.

"What?!" the other elderly man, Bpoo Ja's friend I supposed, also on his feet looking extremely displeased at Daeng?

"WHAT?!" this I did not expect one bit. A voice so familiar and usually warm came from the door behind us but the voice sounded distant and cold now.

---------------

Daeng's POV:

"What?!" The middle aged man, I presumed was P'Oon's father, stood with rage whereas Bpoo Ja had an amused look on his face.

"What?!" the other elderly man, Bpoo King also on his feet looking really pissed at me. I tried to gulp but my mouth and throat were so dry at this point it hurt.

"WHAT?!" oh-ho this is by far the scariest and twisted fate I have ever encountered. I have most definitely killed a whole nation before in my past life.

"HOW COULD YOU?!" I felt my collar being tugged from the back and was turned around so fast, I lost balance. I was about to get my footing when a punch landed to my jaw sending me falling to the ground.

"Daeng!" I could hear P'Arthit's helpless yelp. He was about to help me when I saw the other grab his wrist so harsh he winced in pain and was dragged out of the room in no time.

"NO! P'Kong don't hurt P'Arthit, please" I plead but I was hurting too much to get up and chase after them. All I could do was pray nothing bad would happen to P'Oon.

Oh Daeng worry for yourself first na. I could feel six pair of eyes staring at me from the back of my head and I know I am possibly more screwed that P'Oon at this rate. God help me na T.T
