Kongpob's POV:

This has by far been the longest week. Can I just fast forward a little, skip today, skip the weekends and just start a new Monday. I'm currently being dragged around by my lovely mother who have no trouble showing how excited and thrilled she is for tomorrow's meeting. I was hoping to rest up today and calm my nerves but this happened.

Flashback

P'Arthit just dragged Daeng off somewhere. He did gave me a sweet smile before pulling Daeng away from me but that ain't enough to cool me down. I need to punch something. Don't ask me why but every time I see those two together, I just feel like punching something. Or someone. Traitor little brat.

*Ding*

I got a new message and I lazily checked my phone, I'm so not in the mood.

<Ma> Hello dear. I hope I'm not bothering you in class but I just have to remind you about this Saturday. I know your classes end early on Friday so we're going to get gifts for your fiancee's family and you have to get fitted. There's a lot to be done and I am not doing it all on my own. So be prepared young man.

I'm internally crying. Ma never sends me lengthy messages, she's like those annoying teenagers typing a word or half a sentence and immediately sending them already making trails of messages, ultimately spamming your phone. So when she gives a freaking speech, you know she ain't messing around.

<Kong> K

<Ma> Don't you K me son

And the sass, don't forget the sass.

<Kong> Okay Ma

<Ma> Much better J

<Ma> Love you <3

<Ma> See you tmr

<Ma> xoxo

<Ma> oh and don't forget to eat

<Ma> Don't want you falling sick

<Ma> and bailing out on us

<Ma> which I know you may intentionally do

<Ma> Don't count on it my baby

<Ma> Even if you were on your dying bed I would drag you to this meeting :*

See what I mean? Her messages, her emojis like a freaking teenager, even I don't text like that. So childish but I love her nonetheless.

Great I almost forgot about this Saturday. I feel a migraine coming already. Can time pass any faster, I need my remedy and a punching bag.

End of flashback

So here I am done with the shopping, got myself fitted and had a lovely makeover with Ma's personal favourite hairdresser and I'm super beat. I have at least three big shopping bags on one hand (cause I'm a gentleman and I won't allow Ma to carry them) and Ma doesn't seem like she will stop any time soon.

"Let's get something to eat"

"Ma we just ate like an hour ago."

"Let's get dessert then I feel like eating, Kong. GELATOO~~" my mom is skipping towards a gelato stand nearby. She's lucky she is very pretty and looks young for her age, many people have said she looks more like my sister than my mother but then again they were mostly salespeople and they, well, needed to make sales.
