I woke up early in the morning with the bright sun shining down on me. I looked around groggily and saw that Gally was acting really happy, smiling brightly and dancing around like a loon, constantly thanking and hugging Chuck. At first I didn't know why but then I remembered last night and realised that Gally knew it was Chucks idea to get us together in the first place.

Gally glanced over at me whilst hugging Chuck and jogged over towards me.

He walked up to me and gave me the biggest hug, lifted me up by my waist and spun me around in the air. I squealed with delight as he continued to spin me. "Gally stop!" I screamed through my laughs. He placed me down and looked at me with delight. 

"Good morning beautiful." He said and placed a secretive kiss on my lips glancing over at Newt in tension and then relaxing once he realised that Newt didn't see, I was confused by this and looked at Gally suspiciously.

"Gally, why do you keep looking at Newt like that? I mean, I know that Newt is protective over me and all but.." I placed my hands on his chest and slowly lowering them to his stomach, feeling his strong muscular build properly for the first time.

Gally grabbed hold of my wrists and placed them beside me and looked over at Newt and back at me. "No reason, I just-" Gally slowly turned around and started to walk away. I was getting a little annoyed at Gally and why he was acting so weird about us especially around Newt. My mind started to race and worrying thoughts came into my mind. Is he always gonna be like this? Why does he care about Newt seeing so much? What does he know that I don't? How can I fix- I stopped myself and ignored my negative thoughts and ran towards Gally and jumped onto his back and to my surprise he caught me and wrapped his arms around my legs.

"What work are you doing today?" I asked Gally from behind him still on his back as he walked over to the lookout tower. 

"It's my day off today" He replied looking over his shoulder to look at my smiling face.

"No way! Me too" I said and I rested my head on his shoulder.

He placed me down and grabbed hold off my hand and leaned to my height.

"We are gonna make it official" Gally said as he gestured for me to head up to the top. 

As I reached the top I noticed he was right behind me and he called out loudly causing me to cup my hands over my ears. I noticed everyone glanced over to us at the top of the tower.

"Gally what the hell?" I heard Winston shout from down below.

I noticed Gally straighten up and become serious for a moment. "Right. Listen up shanks! This beautiful, wonderful, amazing, funny girl is now officially mine! She is my absolute world and if any slinthead try's to make a move you'll wish that you never got put in that box!" Gally turned to me smiling and snaked his arm around my waist and kissed me passionately for all the Galders to see.

I couldn't quite believe it. He was probably the most wonderful, handsome boy and he was mine. He pulled away from the kiss and looked at me deeply in the eyes. "Okay, well now that's sorted let's go enjoy our day off."

Once we got to the bottom of the tower I noticed Newt heading over to Gally, he had a sullen mad look on his face and I became worried as I was still climbing down the ladder. I watched as Newt squared up to Gally and spat words at him that I could only imagine were not so kind. I didn't want my best friend and my boyfriend to be enemies so I jumped off the last four steps and ran over. Newt didn't notice me and I overheard Newts enraged sadness.

"Gally I trusted you, I mean come on, what the hell?" 

"Look I'm sorry Newt but I'm with (y/n) now and there is nothing you can do about it" Gally pointed his finger in Newts face.

I couldn't take the confusion anymore and I had to get involved. "Right what is going on you two shuck faces?" I questioned with authority, I needed an answer.

"(Y/n) I'm sorry but-" Newt was cut off by Gally who had a growing amount of pain in his voice.

"This shank liked you, he told me and asked me to help get you two together but is what he didn't know is that I was in love with you but unlucky for him" Gally pushed Newt backwards with so much force I feared that he might fall over. "You're with me now" 

I could see how quickly this was escalating and I didn't want this to turn into a fight but Newts loud voice blocked my thoughts ever so suddenly. "I DON'T EVEN CARE THAT YOU TWO ARE TOGETHER I JUST WANTED TO TRUST YOU GALLY" Newt's fist launched for Gally's face but Gally grabbed it and lowered Newts arm and spoke quietly.

"I'm sorry buddy" Gally said. 

Gally was getting more sensible in my presence and I stepped between them. I placed my hands on Newt shoulders and looked him in the eye's. "Hey, don't be upset okay? I'll always love you. You were the only person that I felt comfortable with at first and I'll always remember that. I love you, brother." I emphasised the 'brother' as I released my hand and Newt and I embraced. I turned back to Gally and grabbed his hand and we walked in the direction of the deadheads.
