I woke up to an empty bed. No Grayson to be found in the house and his car was gone. He never goes into work on Saturday's.

Dallas came into our room not long after I woke up.

"Can I go to Grandpa's house today?" he asked.

"Sure, why don't you go pack a bag and you can spend the night too." i offered.

"Okay." He cheered and ran out of the room.

I reached over to my nightstand and grabbed my phone dialing Gray's number.

"Morning,babe." he answered.

"Morning, where did you go?" I asked.

"Oh-I- uhm, i had to go into the office to finish up some papers." he stuttered.

"Okay. Well Dallas wants to go over to my dads today so I am going to take him over there. Do you want me to bring you some lunch?" I asked.

"Oh no, I can't. I am swamped. Thank you though." he said.

"Of course. Alright well I have to get dressed and stuff. Love you, see you later." I said.

"Love you too." he replied and hung up.

I got out of bed and got dressed, put my hair in a bun and didn't bother putting any makeup on. I grabbed my bag and keys and shouted for Dallas.

"Bud, are you ready to go?" I asked.

"Yeah, let's go." he said and threw his bag over his shoulder. "Look what I can do. I can buckle myself in all by myself." he said as I put him into his car seat.

"Woah no way. How cool buddy." I said and shut his door to get into my side.

I drove to my dads house and him and Candice were luckily home. We walked in and my dad was in the living room.

"Grandpa!" Dallas shouted as he ran over and jumped onto the couch next to my dad.

"Hey guys, I didn't know you guys were coming over today." my dad said.

"We just decided this morning. Is it cool if he stays the night with you guys?" I asked.

"Yeah of course. Candice is in the shower right now and we were going to go run some errands but he can come with us."

"Okay thank you. I have to go I am going to go see mom." I said.

"When was the last time you saw her?" he asked surprised that I was going to go see her.

"A long time. She doesn't even know that i'm pregnant." I said.

"Really?"

"Well you know how she is. Very very judgmental. And I mean she was never very supportive of mine and Grayson's relationship so." I said.

"I hope it goes good." my dad said.

"Thanks. Alright, bye Dal, love you bud. Be good." I said and walked over planting a kiss on his head.

"I will and love you too." he said.

"Bye dad love you."

"Love you."

When I pulled up to my moms house, I had to sit in my car to build up enough confidence to go talk to her. I haven't talked to her or Colin much lately. I just don't want this to ruin mine and her relationship.

I decided to call Grayson and check up before I go in.

"Hello?" i asked.

"Hey, what's up?" he answered.

"I am about to see my mom." I said.

"What? Why aren't you waiting for me?" he asked.

"Because I feel like fixing my relationship with her is something that I need to do on my own." I said.

"Well she is going to see that you are pregnant and isn't that news we should share together?" he asked sounded a bit agitated.

"Yes but I am not here to just tell her. My mom and I have drifted so much since her and dads divorce. So, no I don't think mending my relationship with my mom is something I think we should together." I said.

"Okay, whatever. See you tonight." he said sounding pissed.

"Why are you getting mad at me? I didn't do anything." i said now getting mad.

"It's nothing just that if we are going to be starting a new life together than this is shit we do together."

"Alright fine then, get your ass down here and come help me talk shit out with my mom. There are lots of things that me and my mom need to sort out. None of them, besides one, include you." I sassed.

"You know I can't be there. I have work stuff to do all day. Just wait, Leah." he snapped.

"Thanks, but no thanks. I am a grown ass women I think I can handle a conversation with my mom. Have a good day, babe. I love you." I said and hung up.

I got out of my car and walked up to the front door. I knocked a few times and waited a couple seconds for an answer.

"Hey mom." I said as she opened the door.

"Leah- oh my god." she said as her eyes landed on my small, yet noticeable, baby bump. "You're pregnant?" she asked.

"Can we talk?"

-

"Honey, you are my daughter and I love you so much. I am so sorry you felt this way. I would never judge you." she said as multiple tears rolled down her cheeks.

"I love you too mom." I said and gave her a hug.

"When do you find out the gender?" she asked.

"I go to the doctor next week." I said.

We talked for another hour and watched some tv. Before I knew it, it was already 5.

"Hey mom, I should be heading home now. Gray should be there any minute." I said.

"Ok. Be sure to call me tomorrow. Love you." she shouted from the kitchen.

When I pulled up to the house Grayson's car was in the drive way. I took a deep breathe in got out of my car.

The house smelled like Chinese takeout and it was dead silent. I walked into the kitchen and Grayson was sitting at the island with his Chinese food and a glass of whiskey.

I have been sitting across from him for 5 minutes. He hasn't even looked at me. Why in the hell is he being so fucking petty.

"So are you just going to ignore me for forever?" I asked.

"That was the plan." he said and finished his glass.

"Why? What the hell did I do?" I asked.

"We are supposed to be in this together. Don't you think I wanted to be there to see your mom and give her the news? Because this is my baby too and a child needs both parents. It's a team. Are you going to want to do other things without me too?" he said trying his best not to slur.

"Do you hear how ridiculous you sound right now? Because you sound like a fucking idiot. So once you grow the fuck up and stop being petty as hell and trying to pick a fight just to fight, make sure you let me know. I fluffed the pillows today so the couch should be pretty damn comfortable." I said and walked up stairs.
