Epilogue

3 years later...

"Dallas! Stop playing your game and get your ass down here! Dinner is ready." Grayson yelled from the bottom of the steps. 

I was out on the back porch setting the table. We grilled, making hamburgers and hot dogs. 

"Reese baby, will you go ask daddy for some hamburger buns?" I asked our now 3 year old son who was kicking pebbles. 

"okay mommy" he said and walked into the house. 

A few minutes later Grayson came walking out with both boys over his shoulder. He walked them over to  outdoor couch and dropped them.

"Next time I call for you come down the first time. I'm getting old can't do this shit anymore." he laughed and ruffled their hair. Grayson walked over and handed me the buns and I set them in the middle of the table.

"Alright boys come eat." I said and they all came over and sat in their chairs. 

"What do you guys say?" Grayson asked as everyone started getting their food.

"Thanks Leah." Dallas said.

"Thanks mommy." Reese said. 

"Thanks,babe." Grayson said and reached over kissing my cheek.

"You guys are welcome." I said and we all started to eat.

After dinner Gray and the kids cleared the table since I made it they offered. 

"You guys ready for bed?" I asked.

"Yes." Reese said and rubbed his eyes. "Will you carry me up the steps, mommy?" he asked.

"Mom can't, will you daddy?" I asked looking over at Grayson.

"Sure, come on bup." He said and picked up Reese running up the steps.

"Dal? You coming?" I asked.

"Yeah. Do you know if my mom called dad about me going over there tomorrow?" he asked.

"Uhm I don't know. I will talk to dad and let you know okay?" I asked as I followed him up the steps.

"Okay." 

"Night bud, love you." I said and kissed his head before pushing him into his room.

"Love you too." he said and walked into his bathroom to get ready for bed.

As I was walking to mine and Grayson's room I could hear lots of laughter coming from Reese's room at the end of the hall. 

"I though I said it was bed time?" I asked and leaned up against the door frame.

"But mommy!" Reese whined.

"You were just tired two seconds ago when we were down stairs. What happened?" I asked.

"Daddy started to tickle me and it woke me up." He said.

I rolled my eyes and looked over to Grayson. "You did this you can put him to bed." I said and walked over kissing Reese. "I love you big guy, sleep good." 

"Love you too." 

"What? I don't get a kiss?" Grayson asked in a little boy voice.

"ugh, I guess so." I said and bent down to kiss him.

I walked over into our bedroom and went into my closet putting on some pajama pants and one of Graysons white T-shirts. 

I laid down with the Tv and lights off. After five minutes of trying to go to sleep I felt the bed dip on Graysons side indicating he got into bed.

I rolled over to look at him and he was already on his side looking at me, I just laid on my back since I couldn't exactly lay on my side.

He let me get comfortable before he slid over and placed a kiss on my now rather large belly, and laid his head on my chest. I reached my hand up and played with his hair.

"You know, she will be here in a few days." He said and rubbed his hand up and down my baby bump.

"I know. Are you excited?" I asked.

"So excited. I will finally get to meet the little person I have been talking to every day for 9 months." he responded. "Are you?" he asked.

"I don't know. I am going to miss being pregnant." I said.

"Well you know we can always try for another." He said and lifted his head off of my chest to kiss me. 

"Whatever Dolan." I said and pushed his chest.

"You whatever Dolan, you always said you wanted a big family." he defended.

"Yeah, but I am happy with our family. And I will be even more happy when babygirl comes." I said.

"Well, we should get some sleep. We have to get up early tomorrow got Dal's  baseball game." he said.

"Uhm you do. You are the coach so you have to be there by 7. But, I on the other do not because the game doesn't start until 8:30." I said.

"Mhm, I love you." He said and pecked my lips one more time.

"I love you." I said and rolled over getting back into my sleeping position.

My hand was uncomfortable in its position so took it out from underneath my huggy pillow and realized my wedding ring was on backwards.

I fixed it and once again was faced with the rather large diamond that Grayson proposed to me with a little over a year after Reese was born. 

I am living the best life with the kids and the best husband to spend the rest of my life with.
