Third Person POV

She stirs in the backseat, groaning and mumbling.

"Wake up sleepy head."

Her eyes flutter open as she observes the surroundings. Her eyebrows crease as she looks down at her wrists and ankles being tied.

"W-wha?"

"Y'know for a while I thought you were a goner, you were out way longer than expected. Probably gave you to big of a dose... oops." He shrugged.

The places began to look familiar to her as she groggily gazed out of the windows.

She had been here before.

He took a glimpse of her through the rear view mirror before he smiled. "Yeah we're home by the way, you probably guessed that by now though."

Her throat was insanely dry. "W-why...why are we here?" She rasps out.

"Well, I'm gonna tell you some things today, why not do it at our most sacred place- the cemetery!"

Her eyes widened but she stayed quiet.

///

"We've arrived!" He smiles, climbing out of the car to open the backseat.

He yanks her out roughly as she groans loudly. He pulls the knife out of his pocket, carefully holding it to her throat.

"Be quiet or I swear I will not hesitate to-"

"So soon? No backstory no nothin'?" The other voice jokes.

"I may not have the patience anymore." Milo rolls his eyes.

"Sit her up right."

Milo did as told, perching the scared girl against the tree.

"De'angelo?" She says in shock, finally looking up at the man.

"Yes."

"Where's Lannie?"

"Dead sweetheart." He answers.

"What no she can't be!"

"Don't rile yourself up, I'm sure she's in a better place. That's what happens when people try to cross me."

Amelia felt total defeat. Her eyes began to water but her tears never fell.

"Why am I here Milo? Why are you doing this?" It took every breath not to break down.

"Now we can finally talk about it!" He begins to pace back and forth in front of her. "You broke me, you really really fucking hurt my feelings Amelia. You with all your lies and traps."

"I don't understand."

"You brainwashed me, I fell so in- well what I thought was love- but it wasn't! No it was just a game to you! Then you broke up with me after I protected you! I just couldn't let you hurt me without consequences. I wanted you to remember how much you needed me so I "killed myself". I knew from the second I saw you crying at my grave that you'd run away with me. It was nice seeing you depend on me for a while." He shakes his head humorously.

Amelia's mouth dropped, she closed her eyes and let the tears fall. Milo bends down to her level before grabbing her chin.

"You should have payed closer attention to my journal, all of the clues were there. You would have known that I am the villain of this story." He's smiling ear to ear with joy.

"What are you going to do to me?" She trembles in his touch.

"I haven't decided, on one hand I want to stab you right in the heart like you did me but on the other hand I want to start a fire and let you struggle."

"Please Milo this isn't you! I'm sorry I hurt you I am!"

"Oh I'm sure you are...now."He scoffs.

She was about to respond until she felt her left hand being squeezed. She looked down in confusion. It felt warm almost... like a hand.

Milo talking to De'angelo took no notice of her silence.

Next, she felt her head being touched, almost like a kiss.

"What's happening?" She whispered to herself.

"I'm so sorry Amelia." The whisper was faint but it was there.

"Please help me." She whispered back as she began to cry. She shut her eyes tight and started seeing white.

A faint beep could be heard the more she tried to focus. A low conversation being mumbled. She didn't understand but she didn't stop trying.

"Oh my god - she- she's moving!"

Her eyes slowly open once again as she glances around.

"M-mom?"
