Amelia's POV

I hold my breath for fifteen seconds before rising my head out of the water. I smile to myself knowing I beat my record of ten. I admire the bright view for a while.

I swim to the edge, resting my back and head against the ledge. The sun shining bright behind my closed lids as I continue to slowly kick my legs in the water.

It becomes dark as something covers the sun and a hand is placed over my mouth. I panic and open my eyes to see familiar blue ones.

He smiles, letting his bunny like teeth show and releases his hold. Squatting next to the pool.

"You can't do that!" I turn around to hit his arm.

"Sorry, you should have known it was only me."

"Whatever." I roll my eyes.

"I know you're still mad at me for last night but I have good news."

I don't respond.

"I made a prescription this morning."

"Really? Milo that's great!"

"Yeah, hopefully no more petty fights, I don't like being mean to you."

"I love you anyway."

"I know babygirl. Now let's get you something to eat."

He stands to his feet and holds out a hand for me to take. He grabs my towel from the pool chair and wraps it around my body, patting me dry.

After he finishes he kisses my forehead and lays it on my shoulders before scooping me up and carrying me back into the beach house.

He sets me down on one of the chairs and goes around the counter to the fridge.

"So how are you liking the british virgin islands so far?" He questions while setting out the ingredients.

"I love it. It just sucks that I haven't been able to enjoy it with you." I sigh.

"I know, but I don't have to leave anymore, it's just me and you alright?"

"Okay."

"We're staying one more week, we'll make the best of it I promise." He turns the expensive stove on before looking over his shoulder.

"One more week?"

"You didn't think we were staying here- did you?"

"I kinda did."

"Oh no, we've got a whole world to explore Amelia." He smirks at me.
