LUCINE
"Lucine, stay here my child.Mommy will be right back." The woman's voice was so gentle but it contained something in it.I couldnt figure it out.
"But mommy, Im scared.I want to go with you." My little innocent voice said with fright.
The woman standing in front of me was none other than my mother.The person who carried me in her womb for 9 months.The person who loved me the most.The person who taught me to always smile no matter what.But why is that peeson crying now.Is something wrong?
"Listen my dear, You cant come with me.Those monsters out there are all after you.They want to hurt you lucine.Mommy cant let that happen."She said another tear slipping down her cheaks.
I wiped it out of her face with my fragile hands."But mommy what if they hurt you."
As soon as she heard those words she hugged me tightly and whispered in my ears.
"Your life matters more than mine sweet heart."
"Bu--but-but." Before I could finish my mother cut me off and said. "Promise me lucine you wont cry after today.Promise me that you will never let those monsters hurt you.Promise me that you'll not expose yourself to those people.Promise me that you will always behave like normal wolves.Promise me lucine tha-"
"Yes mommy I will do everything as you said.But please dont leave me." I said interrupting my mother.
"I cant do that lucine.I just cant.I have to protect you just like your father did."She said holding me close to her.Quickly she pulled away and removed her pendant which she always wore.
"Lucine this was my lucky charm.Keep it with you dear."She gave it to me and started to walk away.I wanted to go after her but I didnt.I did as I was told and hoped that I will see my mother and father again.But deep inside I knew that it was hopeless.
