I woke up with an unbearable pain in my back.I opened my eyes slowly and found that I was laying on my back.I slowly lifted my head and looked around and found out that I was in a hospital room.The pain in my back was really bad that I couldnt move.Uggh.

I tilted my head and found my back still exposed.There was no flesh left.It was ripped out and it was very bloody.The sight itself made me want to cry but I held back.The whip cord did a really good job and so did my mate. The word itself made me disguested.Why? Why goddess? Why did you even give me mate.I was happy alone.And nevertheless why did you give me a cruel alpha.

Thinking about this made my head spin.Uggh I cant wait to get away from this place.I slowly started to get up.My wolf will heal me faster than the others.I sat straight up only to be hit with another pain shot throught my back.My wolf kept telling me it was okay and she will heal me.But I think I will still be left with scars.

I realised that I was still in my old shirt with my back ripped open.I slowly clenched my pendent. Mother always told me it will make me lucky.I hope that I will be lucky enough to make it out of here alive.

I was snapped out of my thoughts by someone opening the door.My head shot to that direction and saw a really beautiful women.She had jet black hair and piercing green eyes.She seemed about 30.I couldnt figure it out.Her skin was olive in colour.She wore glasses and had this executive look.

She smiled at me and walked forward. I was shocked.Why would she smile at a rouge who killed her fellow pack memebers.Maybe everyone is not as bad as I thought.Maybe some kindhearted people existed too.But I couldnt give her the same smile.

"I see you have woken up." She said with a smile plastered on her face.It was a real one.

"Ug." My throat felt dry.No words came out.She noticed my struggle and gave me a glass of water.I gulped it quickly and let out a sigh of relief. She chuckled and sat next to me.

"How are you feeling dear." She asked me and I just stared at her.I was amused.Why would she care for me.She seemed to notice this and smiled at me.

"Umm.I--I-I ha--ave b-been bet-t-ter." I said my voice stuttering and cracking.She nodded her head and kept looking at me.I raised an eyebrow at her.

"Oh sorry.I forgot to introduce myself.Im Maria, the pack docter." She said and kept that smile on her face.I always wondered how someone can smile so much.It is the thing that I have lost many years ago.

"Im lucine." I said trying to smile but I couldn't. She nodded and gave me a hand shake.
"Nice to meet you lucine."

Before I could reply she stood up and went towards the table where some medicine were kept.She took a pill from the table and a glass of water.She came towards me and gave me it.I gave her a look but she nodded reassuring me that it was okay.I took the pill from her hand and swallowed it along with water.

"It will reduce the pain. " she said amd I just nodded . It felt weird talking to someone after years.I used to chat with rouges that I saw along my way from trying to hide but that was just for a while.It felt good but I didnt know how to have a conversation with someone.

Before I could ask maria where I was the door bursted open revealing my mate. Our eyes suddenly met and those eyes held so many things I couldnt figure out.I got lost in those eyes as I looked closer and closer.He seemed to have no emotion at all.How can he have emotion.He doesn't even have a heart.It is rock inside.

"Alpha, good to see you here." Maria interrupted our staring session.It was more like a glaring session for him.I looked over to maria and saw ber bowing in respect. This jerk doesnt deserve respect.He is a cruel heartless idiotic alpha.

""Maria, What is her condition." He asked pointing at me.Jerk.I know that he doesnt care for me.Then why are you acting.

"She's fine alpha just the bruises will take time to heal.And for the pain we have given pain killers." She said in a monotone.Her head was still hung low as a sign of respect.

"Get ready for the cermoney. " He ordered me.Oh how dare he.Im not his pack memebers and he is not my alpha.

"For what?" I back questioned and he gave me a look.His eyes once again met mine and the mate pull started.It was like drawing me into him.I broke away from eye contact.I dont want the mate pull.And so does he.

"You are joining our pack." He said in a strict tone and left like that.I was busy processing what he just said.Oh hell no.Im not gonna join the pack.I need to escape from here.I need it fast.Im not cut out to be in a pack.I will only cause harm.I need to escape as soon as possible.
