CHAPTER 2

LUCINE

I woke up to the sound of drops of water clatering on a bucket.Where am I.I looked around to see myself in a dark room.It smelt really bad in here.Sunlight was coming through a small hole in the dark room which made my hair a golden color.And thats when it hit me I was in a cell.Oh no.How did this happen?

Am I gonna die or will they spare me.I dont even know which pack I am in.How did I even end up here? Damn that smell.Thinking about it gave me goosebumps. What is so good about that smell that made me and my wolf go crazy.I started realising that Im not paying attention to the real problem here.Yeah the real problem. Im in a dungeon of a pack I dont know and I could be killed any hour from now for tresspassing a pack territory. And here I am thinking about some stupid smell.My wokf suddenly growled at me for calling the smell 'stupid'.Something is really fishy here.

I was having an anxiety attack about what is going to happen to me from now.Am I gonna get killed.Am I gonna break the promise that I made to my mother and cry.No im not gonna show them im weak.But I cant show them im strong either.So stucking up and acting like an innocent she wolf is the best thing to do right now.Maybe they dont know who I really am.They must think that im some stupid rouge who trespassess pack territories. Maybe they will find me guilty and they will allow me to go.Yeah thats what gonna happen.I clutched tughtly to the pendent my mother gave me and did a silent prayer to the moon goddess that this wolves would let me go and they would not find about my secret.

Suddenly I heard footsteps and that smell from before was becoming more closer.I quickly crawled back to the corner and hid my face with my hair.I held my legs together with my hands and rested my head in them and acted scared.Well I didnt act because I was really scared.The smell was intense now.My wolf was pacing in my mind.I was so damn scared to even care about it.I just sat there waiting for the people to arrive.I have to act innocent.

I heard clattering and ruffling of keys.The door opened and the hairs on my back stood up.Oh goddess what is this? I started to silently pray to the moon goddess. Suddenly I heard a voice.

"Get up" the voice made me shiver.I jumped and stood up but my face hung low.I vould see the persons brown boots.It was almost worn out.Oh focus lucine.

I tried my best not to look up and smell the person standing in front of me.Whoever he was he had an amazing smell.I saw the person clench his fist.Oh god is he gonna punch me.

"Eyes forward" the voice snapped me out of my thoughts.I had a debate in my mind whether to look or not.Anyway what is gonna hurt.I can see the person who smeels so good right.I slowly lifted my head and looked at the person........ oh bloody goddess.What am I seeing.I met one of the most beautiful ocean blue eyes.My wolf let out an howl and started shouting something in my mind which was the last thing on my list.
