13 years later

LUCINE

The morning sun's light woke me up from my sleep.I stretched my body and got up from the rough grass ground.I shouldnt have slept in the open space.I quickly started walking towards the river.I looked at my reflection in the water.That fragile and innocent seven year old girl who cried for her parents that night is no more.Now stands a powerful and independent young woman.I looked closely at my features.Brown long straight hair, small button nose and plumb lips.My cheak bones were prominent and my skin was pale.I inherited all those feature from my mother.What made me stand out was my bright blue eyes that I inherited from my father.The one thing I liked about my body was my eyes.I could see my father through those eyes.

I splashed water over my face.Day light was coming and rouges would start to wander around.I should get going.I cant stay here any longer.I took my bag and started my run.
I could have changed into my wolf but I didnt want to expose myself. I havent shifted to my wolf in a long time.Im waiting for the full moon day of the year.Its the day Im scared of the most.Its the day my wolf comes into surface.Every year I would isolate myself from others.Not that now im not isolated from others but its different on that time.I am scared of that time.Im scared that I couldnt control myself.I could even end up killing myself.So I run away to a complete isolated place.

I snapped out of my thoughts and stopped right infront of a tree.There were new coloured grass on the other side meaning it was a pack boundary.If I walk forward then I would enter the pack.I wanted to stop right there and walk back but something in me was pushing me forward.Something I have never felt.It was so exciting that even my wolf started pace around in my mind.Uggh.what js happening.I stopped right there and looked down.I have already entered the pack.I looked around and saw beautiful trees.But something that really excited me was a strange smell.It was the most amazing smell I have ever smelt.The spicy and woodsy smell made me stand there and close my eyes.But suddenly something hit my back.A painful strike went through me.I placed my hand on the area where the pain was and found an arrow.I pulled it out and found that it was coated with silver.

Silver was immune to wolf.But me being special I could hold up for some time than average wolves.I turned around to see three men standing behind me with angry looks.One also had a bow and arrow.Oops, guess I really tresspassed their land.I had a chance to run back with my speed but I knew it was hopeless because of the silver now starting to weaken my body.Guess its time for a fight.But I knew if I fought, my wolf would come into surface and I would destroy everything.No, giving in is not an option either.Oh goddess what have I gotten myself to.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice another arrow coming towards me.I was fast to dodge it but not fast enough. It came and hit right near my shoulder.
Uggh.The pain was unbearable that I lost it.Anger rose through me.My wolf was fighting inside my mind for dominance. If approximately I knew my eyes would be aqua blue now.It was a sign that my wolf was coming to surface.Before I knew it I pulled out the second arrow.With a small war cry I sprint towards the three men with the two arrows as my weapons.They also started taking their fighting stance.I threw one arrow towards one of the men and it hit right in his chest.One down.Two more to go.The one with the bow and arrow started aim another arrow at me.I quickly threw the next arrow which was with me towards the man but he was fast enough to dodge and his arrow shot right through my stomach.The silver was doing its job and it was spreading all over my body.My vision started to become blur.I could hear voices but it wasnt clear.Before I knew it my back hit the ground and everything went black.
