I was dragged out of the cell by a female guard.She was yanking me by my hair.It hurted really bad.My wolf was telling me to give her dominance so she can show the guard our strength. No, I cant do that.Exposing myself will only get things worse and besides the alpha aka my mate told me that he will let me live.But the punishment.I dont know if I can control myself during that time.

Suddenly my thoughts went to him.My mate.The alpha.If I was his mate why would he do such things to me.Give me punishments.Mates are suppose to hold each other, mark each other and mate with each other the second they see right.Why didnt he do it to me.Not that I want it.All I want to do right now is get over with this punishment without exposing myself.

He doesnt want me.No one wants me.Im a burden to him.Most alphas wanted their mate to be weaker than them.He will obviously reject me the second he finds that im more powerful than him.Im a threat.I will only hurt him.I am releaved that he didnt accept me and mark me.Or else I would have been tied to him for the rest of my life.

Before I could think more the sunlight hit my face.I was finally out of the dungeon. Maybe I could run away now.I only have a female guard with me.I can easily outrun her.But the problem is my wolf was not willing for that.And even a part of my mind didnt want to leave.But why.I squinted at the sunlight and placed my hand above my head to block the sunlight from hitting my face.

The guard led me to an open place where people were assumbled.My mate and alec were also standing.Most people stopped talking and let out a gasp when they saw me.Some were looking at me with hatred and disgust. Some were giving me apologic looks, Some were shocked.And above all my mate had no emotion at all.Alec was also giving me sympethic look.A part of my mind wanted my mate to look at me.Care for me like alec did.Now I kept wishing that alec was my mate.

I suddenly shook the thoughts away.It was the moon goddess' decision. If the alpha was meant to be my mate then let it be.

I slightly scolded my mind because of what I was thinking.I never even wanted a mate.And here I am thinking about him.I dont even know his name.And he doesnt even want me.Which mate would give their other half punishments.Im just made like this.My mother used to tell me that I was special.Is it what special means.Being a loner.Getting rejected from your mate.Well I didnt get rejected.But I bet he will reject me soon.He doesnt want me and the feeling is mutual even though my mind still crave for him.

The female guard suddely pushed me to the ground.I landed on my knees.My mate came to the center of the crowd where I am now and spoke.

"Respected pack members, Today we are assembled here to punish a rouge who has tresspassed our territory and killed two of our warriors."

Some cheers erupted.Why are people happy about punishimg someone.Oh I forgot.This is the world now.I felt my white t-shirts' back being cut of from my skin so my back was open.The cool wind hit my back making me shiver.

"Pack members count along with me" he shouted.

I felt a sudden pain on my back.It was unbearable.The strike's imapct made me move forward.I bit my lips to avoid myself from crying.No I will not show them I am weak.

"One" the crowd counted.I closed my eyes and braced myself for the next hit.It was powerful than the other.I clenched my jaw for controlling myself.I kept my eyes closed and head hung low.

"Two".again the crowd cheared.

"Twenty" the crowd shouted loudly.I prepared myself again for the next hit but it never came.I looked around and saw people staring at me with an amused expression.I was proud of myself that I didnt even let a single tear escape my eyes.I controlled my wolf too.

"This is a warning for every rouge that trespass our territory. Now this rouge is punished for her mistakes.She will be a member of our pack now." The alpha said in a strict tone and some gasps erupted.

I couldnt understand what he said as my mind was becoming black.I felt my head spinning.I felt blur voices around me.Before and knew it my vision began to fade and my body hit the ground. All I saw was black.
