-Exactly - 12:00pm ~
You turn off the engine to your car after arriving at your destination, 'Seoul's best coffee.' Leaning backwards into the comfortable leather of your car seat to stop and think for a minute before taking a deep breath in.
Feeling slightly nervous to face what was about to be a really difficult conversation with your girlfriend, Nayeon.
You hadn't seen each other for a few weeks, the reason being a complete misunderstanding between the both of you and even thinking about the multiple outcomes of today gave you a lump in your throat. Could you even go inside and explain the truth to her? Would it be too difficult to look her in the eyes? Or most importantly, would she believe a word you say?
You would never cheat on her, I mean why would you even think about it when you have a girlfriend as beautiful and kind hearted as her?
The problem wasn't you at all, it was some girl you'd never even spoken to at a party. You'd known going to this party without Nayeon would have been a mistake, you aren't a modest person but you know you're not exactly ugly. About a month ago at the party you stood with a drink in your hand, casually talking to a few friends when this girl appeared out of nowhere. She spoke a few words and you instantly knew her intent and politely declined a few times, especially after knowing she was intoxicated. You remember trying to walk away but it was no use, this mysterious girl planted a kiss on your lips and continued to disturb you until you managed to shake her off a few minutes later, stunned and a little angry you left as quickly as you could, blurry eyed and now feeling the effects of the alcohol as you stumbled to your car and after about 15 minutes of utter stress, you could only just think straight. You vaguely recall the last part, trying to get out your phone to call Nayeon and tell her the party was a mistake but after calling a few times you only heard her voicemail and started to panic after knowing her friend was at the party, most likely witnessing what happened inside, of course she'd tell Nayeon she's always hated me, you think to yourself. You looked down to your phone quickly as it buzzed and felt your stomach drop, it was from your girlfriend.
"If what I've heard is true then we're over...I'm going to pick up my stuff and move out for a while. Don't even try to contact me Y/N"
You felt sick and your heart ached, a lot. You didn't even bother to text her back because she seemed so angry...you were so scared she wouldn't believe you.
A few weeks had passed and you'd both finally decided to meet which brings today, the coffee shop 'date'.

- Exactly - 12:15pm ~You stepped out from your car, dressed in the best outfit you could find in your closet and walked confidently to the door of the cafe and as you did so you noticed on your watch that the time read you were 15 minutes late, not a good start you thought.
There she was, sitting in a corner a coffee in her hand and she looked perfect. The outfit she wore was stunning and as you walked closer you noticed people taking looks which made you scowl slightly but you couldn't blame them. Nayeon averted her gaze from the magazine she was reading and looked up, you stopped walking and fell completely still, your knees felt weak because only her eyes alone could make you feel this way. Her voice spoke softly "Take a seat.." you did so, following her orders and sitting across from her twiddling your thumbs nervously.
"I've...missed you.." You blurted out suddenly unable to look at her face. The girl went to speak but you cut her off subconsciously "you know...I'd never do that to you.." the room felt quiet and strange like it was just the two of you, it was hard to stay focused because the sound of your heartbeat felt loud and so you decided to be brave and slowly gazed up to see Nayeon frozen, tears in her eyes.
Your girlfriend tried to hide the fact she was crying but you couldn't take it anymore. Slightly shocked by her reaction you bit your lip, standing up and making your way around the table taking her in your arms and holding her head which rested on your shoulder. "You're cold." You whisper in her ear lightly as the grip you had around her waist becomes tighter. You'd missed the feeling of holding her in your arms more than anything and wished only that you could have her beside you again.
Nayeon leaned away from your shoulder and frowned at you, making you uneasy as to what she was going to say. "I didn't want to believe it was true-" "well it's not" You cut in again, sounding a little more harsh than you intended. "I just want you to know, I treasure you more than anything" your voice now softer and the look you gave was with sincerity. "She kissed me.." and as you spoke those words you knew it would make Nayeon even more upset than she already was, which is the last thing you'd want. "I believe you wouldn't do it but I was angry and scared Y/N, you can't blame me for that.." her words were spoken so softly it made you shiver slightly and you nodded. The both of you still embracing each other tightly, she let go and brought her pale hand up to wipe the tears under her eyes.
You already missed her touch.
"I hate seeing you cry, but please know I-" you stuttered not knowing whether or not to finish the sentence but it was too late, the words fell out of your mouth all of a sudden. "I am and always will be madly in love with you." Closing your eyes, you try not to grit your teeth at what you'd just said because you were afraid of what the girls reaction would be.
Nayeon focused for a minute on the half empty coffee cup resting on top of the magazine before she gazed back at you giving a small, maybe even forgiving look. "I love you too Y/N I don't want to lose you but.." She stopped speaking and your heart started to race as her face dropped all of a sudden. "You don't go to a party alone again and if any girl tries to touch you, they're dead." Your eyes widen at her words and you rub the back of your neck roughly with slight relief. "That's not like you but...I like it." You reply, once again sitting down as she does the same.
"I ordered you something, is that okay?" She raised an eyebrow as she grabbed your jacket, throwing it over her bare shoulders. "Mhm...when I say I've missed you I really mean it Nayeon." You smile and feel all the stress and worry over the past weeks fade away because you realised all you needed,
was her.
-
You both sat and drank your coffee, catching up on what you'd missed in each other's lives through the time she had been away."Does this mean you'll move back in?" Was the question you'd dreaded to ask but you felt comfortable enough to in this moment. "We'll see." Your girlfriend replied, smiling as you reached over to place a hand over hers.
It was nice that even though you'd been weeks apart it felt normal again, it seemed normal at least to you anyway.
About 20 minutes past and she stood up, grabbing her bag and chucked it around her shoulder, looking at you with a cute expression. "Let's go home Y/N." You chug down the rest of your drink quickly and begin to follow her out. "I knew you'd come to your senses!" You say, unlocking your car as you signal for her to get in first. "Don't try my patience..." She said sternly with a little giggle. "Sorry sorry." Laughing nervously you quickly think, this couldn't have gone better so you smile widely..ready to go home.
~A/N: I'm sorry if this is really bad but I wanted to update seeing as some people requested for me to. I hope you enjoy the story :]
