It sure was difficult, having to deal with such a clingy girlfriend all the time.
No matter what you were doing or where you were, somehow this girl would appear out of nowhere requesting your full attention.
Wether it was when you were out grocery shopping, at work, out with friends, or even in the shower.

Recently though, she had been distant, distant enough for it to be a cause for concern.

No longer would she cling on to your arm and beg for a kiss, a hug or something more and it was starting to feel as if you lived with your best friend, not your girlfriend.

"I'm back." You managed to pull yourself through the door of your condo, carrying a bunch of grocery bags, filled with contents for your home.

There was no response, although the brunette woman was sitting on the couch twiddling her thumbs over a console controller, obviously invested in a game. She cursed loudly over her headset every time she would find herself losing.

"Fuck you!" She spat, throwing her controller on to the sofa, causing it to bounce into the air and land on the wooden floor.

"Hello?" You attempted once again to get a reaction out of the other but she simply ignored you, like you weren't even there.

It's difficult being 21 and having to literally baby your older girlfriend.

You placed the heavy bags on to the marble counter, now focusing back onto Nayeon, folding your arms.

"Im Nayeon!" You raised your voice causing her to jump slightly.

"Oh, hey."

'Oh, hey?' You quoted your girlfriend, tone raised in frustration.

"That's all I get after not seeing you for two days...hm?"

Nayeon removed her headset, walking over to you before smiling.
"I've missed you." The older woman started to rummage through the plastic bags, obviously walking over in the first place only so she could find a snack to eat.
"Did you really?" You sighed, slapping her hand away from the contents.
"When was the last time you had a shower?" You noticed an odour which had made its way into your nostrils, causing you to frown.
"Listen Y/N, you shouldn't have to worry about me, I'm doing fine."

"No you're not, you're different. Something about you is different and I don't like it."
You grabbed a bottle of Pocari Sweat from one of the carrier bags and handed it to the latter.
"I just, I don't feel like myself right now, okay? And I don't know why."
You placed a hand on her shoulder and noticed how she tensed up, the action caused your heart to sink slightly.
"Why don't you start off by having a shower?"
You smiled but it soon faded when the other replied.
"I don't need you telling me what to do." Nayeon deadpanned.

"I-I..." You couldn't find the words to speak. Not once in the two years of your relationship had Nayeon spoken to you this way.
"No offence but, I don't care for what you have to say right now."
She shrugged with no emotion, and you felt a lump form inside your throat.
