You scrolled through your iPhone, slumped on the couch in yours and Nayeon's costly apartment. It was currently 6:30pm, you had exactly an hour to get ready before heading out to one of your current girlfriends business socials.
"What can I wear?" You whined as Nayeon came out of the kitchen, holding two mugs of coffee. "What about something casual but classy?" She placed the cups onto the black marble table located in front of you.
"You know I'm really not into the whole socialising thing right?" You raised your eyebrows, picking up the hot mug between your fingers. "Yes, but I want you to come tonight otherwise I wouldn't have as much fun." "Okay but only for you." You groan jokingly, putting the coffee back onto the table and making your way upstairs to find your attire for the evening.

"What do you think, it's not much but-" "you look great!" You walk down the stairs, smiling as Nayeon pulls out her phone. "Not another picture..gosh." You blush as the flash from her camera visualises your rosy cheeks. "You look amazing, I look like I've just woken up." You chuckle, pulling out your own phone to scroll through Instagram.
"Did you hear Mina and Chae will be attending tonight?" Nayeon smirked, knowing it would cheer you up.
"Yeah, I've just seen it on Chaeng's insta." You like the picture.

"Pretty sure they win the best couple of the year." You laugh, running a hand through your hair as Nayeon frowns, sliding a hand around your waist. "Why not us? We can be cute too! I could take a photo of us right now and it would be evennn better." She prolonged the 'N' . You rolled your eyes which your girlfriend seemed to notice causing her to slap your butt playfully. "Stop doubting me, I've heard they have..." she paused and went closer to your ear. "...bedroom issues.." Nayeon pulled away as you shook your head. "Yikes, i should consider myself lucky then Nayeonie?"
"I guess, I'm not going to big myself up even though I know I'm fantastic." She winked, grabbing your left palm. "You just did, idiot!" She smiled and glanced at her phone, checking the time "oh shit, we have to go!" You followed her speedily through the door of your apartment, tripping over your own feet as your palm was still connected to hers.
