Secret Love

Chapter 26

Liam's P.O.V.

It's been four days since Kylie's gone missing. Four whole days and we have no idea where she is. The snow has stopped and we've gotten plowed out but the roads are still dangerous. Cooper and McKenna haven't stopped looking for her. It's late. But I can't sleep. I haven't been able to.

I get up out of bed and go into the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror. I'm a mess. There are huge dark circles under my eyes. I look in the medicine cabinet and take out some sleeping pills. I swallow two with some water and walk back into my room. I lie back in my bed and close my eyes, sleep finally easing my mind.

8:30 AM THE NEXT MORNING

"Liam. Liam wake up we found something." A voice says while shaking my shoulder. I groan and roll over not opening my eyes.

"Liam I swear to god if you don't get out of this bed in ten seconds I'll pour cold water on you! We have a lead on Kylie!" McKenna screams in my ear.

I shoot straight out of bed and run downstairs to the basement with McKenna.

"What's going on? What did you find?" I quickly ask Cooper.

"We've been trying to make the security tape from the grocery store clearer and we can read the license plate now. I'm running it through to see if we can find a match." Cooper explains.

After a few minutes of waiting the computer dings.

"The car is registered to Michael Green but it has a picture. It's Michael Smith the serial killer. It gives an address, let's go." Cooper says and jumps up from his seat.

I run back upstairs to my room and put some actual clothes on. By the time I'm dressed and ready everyone is gathered in the kitchen. McKenna hands me a bullet proof vest and a gun. I look at Cooper and he nods.

"Okay let's go. McKenna and Liam you're riding with me. The rest of you follow in the SUVs behind us with the other agents. I called back up who are on their way there already but we'll probably beat them. When we get there the three of is go in, the rest of you stay in the car. We don't want anyone else getting hurt." Cooper says.

We all nod and follow him outside where there are three big, black, CIA, SUVs. We get in our designated cars. Cooper pulls out first and puts on his lights and sirens.

Once we get closer he turns off his sirens and so do the rest of the cars. We pull into a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. We keep driving until a house comes into view. We park in front and hop out of the cars. Back up is here and we're ready to go in.

"We'll go in front. Let's go." Cooper says. I follow him to the front door while holding my gun; McKenna does the same.

When we reach the door I check the knob to see if it's unlocked but it's not. Cooper nods at me and I kick the door in making a loud crash.

Cliff hanger kinda lol oops?

I know last chapter I said there's going to be like 10 more chapters but I thought about it and there's only going to be 4 more and then an epilogue. I'm sorry! But I'm going to write another fanfic after this one is over :)

I'll try to update again tomorrow
