"I'm telling you Eva. He likes you." Sam said.

"How do you know?" I asked him.

We're all back at Kat's place talking about the situation.

And Sam is insisting that Colby likes me too. But he won't tell me how we knows.

"Just trust me Eva. I know." Sam said.

"That doesn't tell me anything Sam. I need to know who you know. I can't just go along with it. I'm not setting myself up for more heartbreak." I defended.

"Just tell her Sam. If you don't I will." Brennen said. I looked over at Brennen and raised an eyebrow.

I looked back at Sam and he looked guilty.

"I told Colby how you feel about him." Sam admitted.

"You-you what? Sam he wasn't supposed to find out from you! I was supposed to tell him myself!" I raised my voice.

"I know. I know. I just thought if he knew than maybe he would clean up his act." Sam defended himself.

"I tried to stop him Eva. I knew you wouldn't want this." Brennen said.

"But after he knew I could tell by his face that he likes you too Eva. I could see it in his eyes." Sam said.

I shook my head and walked out of the room.

I can't believe this.

I can't believe he told Colby. I can't believe that Colby knows now.

What is he gonna say to me? Will he even talk to me ever again?

"Go stay at Brennen's tonight. I'll talk to Sam about this. We'll figure all of this out Eva. I promise." I heard Kat behind me.

I just nodded my head. I stayed silent.

"I promise Eva." Kat said again.

"Don't promise me that. You don't know if we can fix this. What if we can't?" I asked her.

"We will. At least I hope." Kat said.

She walked out of the room without another word.

I sat in silence listening to the others talk about me and Colby.

I hope Kats right.

I hope we can fix all of this.

I don't know what I'd without Colby. I'd probably have to move back to Kansas.

I can't afford to live here alone.

And honestly I really don't wanna live here if I can't live with Sam and Colby.

----[time skip]----

"Do you wanna sleep in my bed? I'll sleep on the couch for the night." Brennen said as he closed the door to his apartment.

"It's fine Brennen. I really don't mind." I replied.

"Well I'm not letting you be uncomfortable all night. You're sleeping in my room." Brennen insisted.

"No Brennen. I won't sleep much anyway. I'm not gonna kick you out of your bed if I'm not gonna be sleeping in it anyway." I said.

Brennen rolled his eyes at me and just nodded.

He walked off into his room and changed into a pair of sweats to go to bed.

"I'll see you in the morning then?" Brennen asked me. I nodded.

"Sure thing Brennen." I replied.

I laid down on the couch and scrolled on my Twitter for a little while. I looked through my pictures on Instagram too.

Colby and I used to be so happy.

I wish we could go back to that.
