"Are you okay?" Noah quietly asks me as I sat down on the couch.

I was watching as Leo was trying to talk up to one of the girls and failing miserably.

"Yes," I reply courtly as I watch the girl walk away from Leo.

"Is it because of Amalia?" He ignores my answer.

"What do you mean?" I glare.

'If he is suggesting that I like her, then I'm going to choke him.'

"Because she's leaving you alone. She told me about what happened after school."

'Oh!'

"Are you guys best buddy's all of a sudden?" I snort.

"No, we've just known each other for a while. Are you trying to say that I like her?" He chuckles.

"No. It's not my business and I don't care. I'm asking because all of a sudden you're soft just like Jacob," I shrug.

"You have been around guys for way too long," he chuckles.

"What do you mean? I'm with girls too," I defend.

"Yeah but they're girls you can jump and dump. You haven't had a decent female friend, other than Zion. Although she doesn't really count, she's practically one of the guys," Noah snorts.

"I know how to-"

"No, you do not. Don't bother trying to argue with me on this, you know it's true," he gives me a look.

"Fine, I guess in a way you're right. It's just girls are no different to me, they can be annoying and a waste of space," I shrug.

"Well, how about you apologize to the girl who's feelings your hurt and then we work on you not being so mean to the female population in general?" He stands up and gives me a hand.

I look over at Amalia and her friends with Jacob. They were laughing about something.

'He's right, I can't be so rude to her.'

"Fine, I'll do it," I sigh as I take his hand to help me up.

Just as I was about to walk towards the rest of the group, Amalia stands up as well and begins hugging everyone.

"Come on Farrah and Odette, our ride is here," she smiles.

"I'll grab Lenina and Desaray," Farrah announces as she goes to get them.

"I'll grab our stuff," Odette follows.

"Bye guys! See you on Monday!" She says to the guys.

"Oh and remind me to help you with the assignment tomorrow," she says to Noah.

He nods and gives her a hug.

"Uh Lorenzo, can I speak with you?" I ask as she steps out the door.

"I have to go now Wes but maybe another time," she smiles apologetically.

"Please," I follow her out the door and close it so no one can hear us.

She looks at me a little distressed but nods.

"Look, I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I was out of line. It's just there are things that I think and sometimes I let them come out when I shouldn't. You know what I mean? I just can't control myself when I'm angry or frustrated and believe me it happens a lot, but I shouldn't take it out on you when you've done nothing wrong. I-"
