We didn't go to school today, I wasn't in the mood to face Amalia or any of her friends, and I sure as hell was not in the mood of staying in a controlled environment that consisted of me sitting down quietly in a classroom full of idiots.

So instead, Noah and I went to the gym. It felt nice to be able to hit someone in the face without any real consequences.

I won't boast about me being the best there is, because it isn't true. Trust me I am far from it, but I do know how to take care of myself well enough to send someone with a concussion and a few bruises that would definitely take a while to heal.

It was around four o'clock when we decided it was enough for today.

I felt great. much better than this morning when I realized I might actually like Amalia.

"Dude, I just got an invite to a party," Noah mumbles as we walk through the streets of the crappy side of town.

"I could go to a party," I shrug as we board the bus.

Maybe I can forget about this whole Amalia situation altogether.

"I'll pick you up at your place, make sure you bring your crap so you can spend the weekend with me," Noah reminds me.

Yeah, there is no way that I am getting shitfaced at a party and I go home like that. My mom is a bitch as it is, I don't need to give her another reason to yell at me again.

When I get home, I go straight to the shower and get all rinsed up. Once I'm out, I change into some jeans and a regular black t-shirt. I make sure to grab a backpack and stuff it with the essentials that I will be needing at Noah's place.

I get a text from him saying that he was right outside.

"How was school?" my mom asks as I head to the kitchen to grab a quick snack to take.

"Fine, I'm going to Noah's for tonight," I mumble.

I take a bite out of the apple that I found and wait for her to argue but she stays quiet as she eats her food and scrolls through facebook on her phone.

'Guess she doesn't mind.'

Without saying anything else, I leave and run to Noah's truck.

"Let's go, I need to let loose," I grumble as I slam the door shut.

After dropping my stuff at his place, we pick up the rest of the guys and head to the party.

The guys didn't ask questions about my disappearance which was good. I was not in the mood to get into an awkward conversation about Amalia.

Noah turns up the music and for once in this whole week, I forget about my troubles and become a senseless idiot with my friends.

The music blares and Noah presses a little more on the gas.

Tonight would be great.

A few minutes later, we arrived at this nice big house party. The street was crowded with drunk teenagers just wandering around.

Once parked, we all start yelling and getting hyped. I feel Jacob pull and push me in excitement. Leo was on top of Jackson and Noah, spouting out nonsense.

There were some drunks on the lawn, yelling and horsing around. A guy was on the roof and was ready to come down on a buggy board.

Before we could see the aftermath of his crazed decision, we were already inside. The party was going full blast. Girls were on the floor grinding on each other, guys were trying to get in between the action. Couples were making out, other people were having drinking contests, other had games going on with some players already half naked.
